People made fun of me, took some pictures of myself and edited so i looked like shit, and all that kind of bad stuff. In response i've always acted very aggressive towards everyone on the community. I never reached the top like HBox, but it was like watching myself but instead of melee, it was on smash 64. I'm a player that stick to a character or class forever, the same way HBox does with Puff. No surprise that the documentary made me cry. Now I have a much more interests on melee and i'm binge watching videos about Melee and HBox in general. It's so satisfying to know that there is actually champions that stood out against the "sick" players and became a number 1 with a character considered so lame, boring, bad, weak. True to Nintendo they branch out a little and then break things down when they just don’t like them so the corporate ethics and tactics are always a mixed bag.
Meh, Melee is fine as it is. :P
@@AirshBornely Nintendo could make revenue from melee tho, if they sold merch and sponsored people. They could also use pro players to advertise their shit.
The whole stream is worth checking out on twitch btw
Hey hbox just wanted to let you know that screw all of the haters against you, you are a well deserved champion. Honestly you have inspired me to main and stay consistent with my puff in ultimate keep up and the great work and keep inspiring
Just wanna let you and emp know, y’all are the reason I started playing smash
saw part of this on stream but didn't have time to stay. thank you for the video! hbox
Thank both of you boys for getting me into Smash and eSports in general. Much love.
This documentary introduced me to Emp which introduced me to Hungrybox, and being a fan of Both ever since.
This is actually one of my favorite videos from EmpLemon. He did a great job with it
I love how juan cant help but push emp into the blast zone of the facecam
I vaguely knew of Melee competitions befor Emp’s video. Now I’m worried it’ll overtake my studying XD
I got into competitive Smash and watching your streams from this documentary. I'm going to my first regional event later this month. Maybe I'll bust out a drill rest with Puff :) Thanks EmpLemon/Hbox!!!
I'll be real; I'm here for more Emp, never been a big fan of Smash in general even. Still, Hungrybox seems like a cool dude and if I ever do want to get into watching some matches, I'll probably stop here first.
I found out about Hungrybox through EmpLemon. Dude had it rough from the get-go. Even though I didn't know about you up till now, I'm cheering you on, my dude. You can always get better and I know you will.
took me way to long to notice emp was actually there and right beside him
This vid is what introduced me to melee and is probably why hbox became my favorite player right away
Great vid. Also, Emp, thank you for all the amazing content, as always. I can't thank Digibro enough for recommending your channel. The high praise he gave your videos turned out to be entirely warranted, and I can't wait to see what you'll put out next.
This video is how I found hungrybox and most of the competitive scene for smash
I made and posted this comment on Emplemon’s channel and I’ll post it here also and I’ll subscribe here too
“Well I NEVER LIKED SMASH GAMES it has never appealed to me even though I got the game for my son. Even though I’ve been a fighting game gamer for over 20 years and been in circles of smash players.
This documentary has opened my eyes, enlightened me, inspired me to give more credit to the smash community. Hbox is indeed all of us he is indeed our hero of the common man over coming the system that’s stacked against us. Well done great job by the creators of this documentary you’ve accomplished to make me a appreciative spectator of smash games. Bravo u got a new subscriber here
Hbox I’m not from
The smash community but as a avid member from the fighting game community I got the utmost respect of what you were able to accomplish.. Big Respect brother”.
I never expected this crossover!
Saw hbox and emp Lemon and had to drop by. Can’t wait to watch it after work
I was there for the whole stream, it was fun to watch Hbox! Keep it up.
EmpLemon is like a great chef: He'll give you a new plate that introduces you to something you might like.
Being introduced to Comp Melee and HungryBox was a quite interesting experience.
I like how EmpLemon sounds exactly the same when he's talking normally as in his videos. Gives an air of authenticity to everything he makes.
Emp looks like the quiet kid who got invited to the popular kids birthday
36:35 YOOOOOOOOO! You were always my favorite Hungry box! This excellent taste only re-enforces that opinion. Did you know battlecruisers came into the TvZ meta lately? Isn't that nuts?!
Emp looks like Jawed from the first RUclips vid
I’ve been waiting so long for this and you got the man himself
