  • Running over a child is terrible enough, but what happens if it's the child of a mob boss?
    "On March 18, 1980, John Gotti's middle son, 12-year-old Frank Gotti, had met with a friend who owned a minibike, who was allowing his friends to take turns borrowing it. When the friend permitted Gotti to take his turn, Gotti took the bike immediately, to the surprise of his friend, who had not yet given his instructions on appropriate handling of the motorized bike. Gotti darted out into the street and was hit by a car driven by John Favara, Gotti's backyard neighbor. Due to Gotti's failure to wait for his friend's tutorial and entering the street at a blind spot, his death was ruled an accident and criminal charges were never filed against Favara. However, Favara subsequently received death threats and was attacked with a baseball bat by Victoria Gotti Senior, the deceased's mother, when Favara visited the Gottis to apologize. When the Gotti children grew up and had children of their own, each of them named one of their sons Frank in honor of their brother."

    As an Italian-American New Yorker who actually grew up in a mob neighborhood in Queens also, I remember this story well even though I was young when it happened. It was kind of a legend and cautionary tale. I'll just say this -- the guy who hit Gotti's kid absolutely was not a drunken maniac or disrespectful in any way. That whole myth took hold much, much more recently. We all knew it was an accident, and we all knew what happened to the guy.

    I heard Gotti's wife told him that if he didn't have him killed, she would never forgive HIM for not killing him in revenge, even if, in a sense, it was HER fault for not paying better attention to what her young son was doing riding around on a mini bike. I remember this era and had a mini bike and we never let the smaller kids ride on one, simply because they couldn't control them. These weren't toys - these were an accident waiting to happen. And so, to shut his equally psychopathic, loud mouthed wife up, John had him whacked. The Gotti tribe are all a bunch of mental detectives, who like all narcissistic psychopaths, can NEVER take responsibility and always shift the blame to anyone else and will stop at nothing to silence a voice that differs from their own delusional version of an event. Sad series of events for sure. But inn the other hand Gotti helped to nearly disintegrate the entire LCN with his own hubris, ego & psychopathy. I hope Favarro's family found peace elsewhere after he was uselessly murdered by these useless, destructive & careless parasites on society.

      Young teen riding around on pavements and roads alike (some actual witnesses came forward) on a dirt bike, night time, no lights, stolen bike. He got knocked off and killed by a young girl who had no chance of seeing him. He was also found to have THC in his blood toxicology report.
      Her and her family ended up having to move as they were getting death threats, car and house getting vandalised etc.
      All because some 'sweet little Dindoo nuffin' (white, before someone says I'm being racist) spread himself up the front of a car while being a useless drain.

    This whole story is just sad all around. A man and woman, mafia or not, lost one of their children to an unfortunate accident. Which really sucks, because of course even criminals love their kids. Then as a result two young boys ended up losing their father leaving their mother to raise them on her own. All this because of the unruly timing of a mini-bike and a guy driving home from work. Who very likely could not avoid the collision in time. Sometimes the universe just pulls your ticket I guess. Or the mafia does...

    • @GoldenBoy-et6of
      @GoldenBoy-et6of 7 месяцев назад +11

      Acctually most criminals don't love their kids, the mafia wasn't like other criminals , they wanted to bring order to areas and become like a monopoly on the crime already there and punish people who ended innocent people like true street justice not ruthless gang violence like we see today. Back than the mafia provided "honest" criminal that was all victimless and done through the organization which included police who were payed off or part of the mafia themselves. If mafia was around none of the gangs in ny would be around and we'd acctually be way better off than we are right now as crazy as it is cause they wouldn't allow the ruthless criminals to stick around , they put the lowlifes with the fishes as we all know.

    • @EziekKiel
      @EziekKiel 7 месяцев назад +24

      @@GoldenBoy-et6of I guess it depends on the criminal. Not all criminals are psychopaths or lack empathy. Most do it because they are desperate or it's all they know. I've seen even some of the most hardened criminals show tons of love for their children. I mean, it's their kids. Unless you're a true psychopath everyone has the capacity to love. Even those we deem as lesser in society. So I don't really support that argument. There's a lot of real bad people out there. But not all criminals are psycho killers and kidnappers.

      Mafia is highly glorified by movies and medias. Also movies never talk about the "little guys" working at the bottom, or just for 10 minutes to tell how the main characters "climbed to the top" or whatever. Movies never tell you the bland, boring ass aspect of this kinda life at least for the people working at the bottom of the mob. "Hey, drive 45 minutes over there and act tough. Hey, some "important" guy needs a driver, drive him where he needs to be and don't talk to him. Hey, I need someone to hide some highly illegal stuff, it's gonna be you and you're on your fucking own if the cops shows up at your place .". And the pay isn't even that good at least for a bottom guy. The only thing that was fun was the free weed and some friends I made, one of them unalived himself and the other """""FELL"""" off his balcony. Boring. Bland. Depressing ass job.

    It was a genuine accident. The boy entered the street between two tightly packed cars. There was simply no way the driver could see that poor child until it was too late. It was truly coldblooded of John Gotti to take revenge like this when the police investigation of the accident found no fault! I can't say that I'm sorry to hear that John Gotti is now dead.

    correct me if I'm wrong, but were these ai generated images you used for the video? I didn't see any source for the art. If so, to me thats a big turn off of your video and it got heavily distracting. Especially when you know how to draw, so it just makes this feel lazy.

      The artsy types hate anything AI, because they know it will get good enough to replace the low end & average artist, thus forcing them to actually contribute something to society other than their overpriced mid whimsy.

    This was a good video, but I wished that you just used your regular art, or commissioned someone to make the art for some of the moments in the video instead of using Ai art.
