This is our second K-Classic. We had our first one for many years, so when we had to replace it, we wanted nothing else but this exact ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf model. We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.
One final suggestion, before you use a machine that has been cleaned with chemicals I like to run a couple of shots though and dump the shots. This 'tempers' the machine and ensures the first couple of cups don't have any chemical taste.
I left it a bit long to do a clean on my home espresso machine, maybe 500 uses instead of 100 and afterwards I actually thought the flavour was worse. Maybe a bit sharper and bitter. I live in a hard water area and limescale buildup might have been adding to the flavour to my coffee, though undoubtedly, eventually going to kill my machine.
Other retailers such as Chris Coffee say not to use cleaning detergent every day because it effects the gasket and other seals, only use it once a month,, its strange how 2 renowned retailers have such extremes in advice

What is the white powder that you add to the hot water
very informative! thanks for sharing
Is it really true that if we leave the steamer soaked, we will damage the coffee machine? Bc our shop dose it and managers told us to do it ;(

I think there is a big difference in private vs. professional use. I also think once a month for personal use is fine.
can we pour the powder into the tank to clean the interior parts of the machine? I mean to use the powder as a descaler.. can we?
Late reply, but NO. Cleaner is not the same as descaler.
