Yes true, but usually leather is a bi-product of the meat industry. The animal hasn't been hunted and sourced for its fur, besides she doesn't confess to be a vegan, but its good that she has a stance on something. Every little choice a person makes helps :)

I'm sorry, but the cow you eat is not the same you use to make a jacket. I'n not a vegan nor a vegetarian, and I used to think that eating meat and not wearing leather was hypocrite of me. Instead, I was being ignorant. They are different industries, the cows used for meat are raised in a different environment and have a different trait than the ones destined to produce leather. The leather industry is highly polluting, is treated with toxic chemicals, harming the people who work with the material, the buyers and the environment.

It's true! French women have a unique style, that's almost not perceived or seen but rather felt. I met a french woman and she had her hair that way, as if she just woke up, no makeup, beautiful skin.... very casual...but I still knew she was not American...she had this air of chic to her in a very casual way....

I was actually about to go through my wardrobe and throw away a bunch of clothes because I thought I had too much (especially jackets/coats) but from watching this video I understood two things that made me change my mind about my approach.
1. You don't have too much clothes.
2. It's okay to have too much clothes as long as you love it and as long as it expresses who you are.
This woman is so cool. I'm definitely a fan.

She's so sweet and authentic. Love her, her style and her vibe.
When she said she felt she had 'a turtle shell', it reminded me of my grandmother's explanation that out clothing is actually a sort of uniform: when we want to be in authority; display cohesion with a particular group; etc. we wear 'the proper ensemble' for that environment/expression. Our outfit can 'protect' us from scrutiny or invite it- whichever we choose! :)

I guess my dream use to be to be chic as a parisian girl, but now I understand that they basically try to be themselves as much as possible and love themselves to the fullest. It's so confusing and complicated, trying to understand who you truly are and loving yourself to the fullest. Accepting yourself and giving up perfection because it doesn't exist.
And she's so confident, and different, and still really successful in the business. It's really surprising to me, and I kind of feel like she's to has to be a little fake here and there. To continue my comment about denim jeans prefer jeans style in twill or gabardine or stretch quality fabric
back in the day when it was hard to find high waisted jeans that weren't bell bottoms. i remember everything being mid rise/low rise in 2015

+Caskader Everyone has a point at which they draw an ethical line. Wearing leather and fur are quite a commonly seen as having a meaningful difference so I don't see why you're drawing attention to it.
+Caskader Yes, leather is bad as well...but fur is even worse I suppose. A vegan wardrobe is always best but not that easy in my oppinion...Wool etc one also shouldn't support as well.
morgen röte how is leather and furr not the same¿¡ one is the skin of an animal (most likely newborn/unborn calfs) and the other is the skin of an animal (most likely dog or fox).
I guess because for most furs the animals get skinned alive, which makes it even worse for the animal. the leather industry is still bad enough as it is, so purchasing either is connected to pain and suffering
killing a pregnant cow to take out an unborn calf and making a leather jacket out of him is also cruel - it bothers me that people dont get that. just like people think that sheeps dont suffer when you trim their coats for wool.. its horrible and its time that people know where their clothes are coming from - but standing there all french and modern saying how she never wears furr while having a wool overcoat and a leather jacket is a bad joke in my opinion.
