It's levels aye. The NHL playoffs are the biggest thing in the game. Club games pale in comparison to the significance of test match international footy.
@@DistractedSports Well you should see it here for high level international hockey, I remember Canada being in an Olympic gold medal game, and being outside and the streets were deserted
I was thinking about bringing those players back for Forbes or Funaki. I guess to an extent its a safety factor - if either Forbes or Funaki got injured right before the final you'd probably feel more comfortable knowing both Perofeta & Christie have had a solid 120-140 minutes of rugby in the last couple of weeks rather than 6 weeks off and only 20 minutes.
You're right Mr Tony, Star Wars started its controlled demolition with The Last Jedi movie, throwing away the lightsaber was prophetically symbolic...oh yeah, & this years Super Rugby quarters shld be all the proof we need that the 8 team playoffs don't work for the comp. Deep down u know... u know that having the mighty Crusaders still in the playoffs wld have added much needed spice to the 8 team playoffs :)
We still have Eskimo pies in South Africa and they're awesome! haha gonna go grab one now even though it's freezing cold. Also google a South African chain of family restaurants called Spur. It's a politically correct nightmare lol
@thewielloyd988 lol funny enough it originates from the UK but has died out there. Still popular here though. Their breakfasts are good quality if you have a tight budget. So they appeal to a certain price bracket. Speaking of names, we used to have a fast food chain called BIMBOS!
Ahhh Mark man, that nervous involuntary response that starts at 32.35 when Tony us riffing on the scenario of a Blues v Saders instead of Drua, feel for yah bro 😂
I keep thinking about that jelly, it looked like the slimy stuff that comes out of old Victorian pipes after you give them a clean 🤢 I feel like Mark and I bonded over our frugality… oh and rugby…
Yep Auckland certainly doesn't make me believe it's loving Super Rugby, although they've gotten a couple 20k+ crowds. Should be nearly averaging that considering the population compared to like Hamilton
Still in highschool. Seen quite a few kids looking at the super rugby table and highlights for this season, no discussions about the Wahs. But I live in the South Island, I assume Auckland would be the opposite with more talking about the wahs
Calm down, most genuine quarter finals are a bit lopsided. The only way around it is to rest the top2 qualifier's and have the others play off for the next week.
If you like France and detest Americans you will like the Movie "A Good Year". It will make you want to move to the South of France. Its my most favourite movie, up there with Shawshank Redemption.
why is everyone saying its not 8 years in a row it never was 7 in a row they won 2017, 2018,2019 2020 and 2021 with just 5 teams BUT we had trans tasman in 2021 as well were the blues won it never was 7 in a row cause the blues stopped it at 5 2017 crusaders 2018 crusaders 2019 crusaders 2020 crusaders 2021 crusaders 2021 BLUES 2022 crusaders 2023 crusaders

bro anyone else thinking canes not making the final? i know u canes fans gonna say oh chiefs are easy but serious a 43-21 win against the reds who toke u into overtime in a 4th v 5th quarter final where they lead 31-0 at half time u can say the chiefs are easy to beat if u are then ur just an idiot come against rebels it was 14-6 at half time at home 1st v 8th chiefs up 31-0 u can`t be saying there gonna be ez
Had to look up what the State of Origin is, then realised it was league and had absolutely no idea what or who Tony was talking about.
timestamp topics please
Courtney Laws retired from test rugby. But he's still going to play in France.
what did you think of the reffing of the bulls leinster game?
As a Canadian, I can't imagine no one talking playoffs hockey here. It would be weird. I thought you were as rugby mad, as we are hockey mad
Sure, once, but that was a long time ago....

Yeah Tony, bukkake is something totally different 😂. In fact, it's a decent metaphor for Blues rugby SR performance over the years.
Love it when you guys do a duo pod cast 🔥

43:40 bit of old Winston Churchill to get you in the mood
Mark has finally bullied his son into being a Blues fan. This is why the Stormers lost their 1/4 final. It's all young Two Cent's betrayal fault
Haha man it happened naturally! He saw the light!....
Hopefully he's prepared for the disappointment

Weirdest South African chain I saw when I was there was Wimpy. How does that chain survive in South Africa with that name?

@@superbowljoel01 haha yeah I would’ve thought Bimbos would’ve done better. Although Hooters failed in Australia.

Love the vid, although i was going to watch the QFs on catch up. Probably not so much now..
What's State of Origin? The Bogan convention 2024?
Are these guys on Spotify?
We are!

The only reason the standard of rugby was crappy is because teams like the Drua, and Rebels were there to make up the numbers.
Pretty sure Courtney Lawes is retired from international duty
He's ineligible for england playing in france (with current rfu laws) but has said he'd come back for B&I Lions if given the call by papa Faz
No doubt Auckland is a bit lethargic on Super Rugby but the rest of the country is a bit stronger I believe
Yep Auckland certainly doesn't make me believe it's loving Super Rugby, although they've gotten a couple 20k+ crowds. Should be nearly averaging that considering the population compared to like Hamilton
Lawes has retired from international rugby with his move to Brive in France. Also it was Schoeman who came on for Obano's red card.
half of the super rugby playoffs were good and when I say half I mean half of each game
bro im the only won in the world who talks about super rugby day in and day out like that's basically all i talk about

Tony u weren't supporting NSW were you?!?
Either way - you should've come to the abrisbane game ... Far better atmosphere 👌
Swap to league that's what you love.
Could we talk Riaan into saying “drugs” (or even ‘drugbi’) like he says “rrrrrrrrugby”
They never miss, the absolute legends. Tnx for the pod bois
Oh man tony makes me randy
Frankly there just can’t never be enough Star Wars/ rugby crossover podcasts. Ps. You’re right about the acolyte. It’s just meh.

blues so dodged a bullet there. You just know they would have done it
38.08 fucking mark
Star wars is dead thanks to disney
Not enough ball in play time. JK reckons Anakin flies like a League five eighth.
Blues losing to the Brumbies
No chance
Here's to it!! Carn Brumbies!!!!

The quarter finals have always been quite 1 sided nothing new to be honest.
At least back in the days there was the odd away win I guess....
@TwoCentsRugby yeah true 😮💨. You should do a video on who could replace the Rebels.
