Hey guys looked you up and love your channel. Loved hanging with you guys great sunset this afternoon and company! Happy trails guys and fun travels! Loved meeting you guys!
I think the All Trails app will really help you stay on trail during your hikes. The paid version includes downloadable maps and doesn't require cell signal to track your progress.
Chris, this might be my favorite comment EVER! Thanks for the intel. We're downloading it now and will probably opt for the paid version - especially, considering the lack of internet in some of the more remote locations we've visited. This is hugely helpful!
Loved the hike..sign posting could be better...do thay have a app or something you could down load?. I always take a "walking pole" when I go hiking...it takes hundreds of pounds off your legs..and is great for support when walking down steep slopes...and thay fold down to fit in a back pack...also good for fending off a rattle snakes!!.😎❤🇺🇲 PS..Buy a Garmin inreah explorer+and se+GPS if you need emergency help were cell phone is not available...its great for social media as well.🤞
After reading your comment, I (Daniel) did some research on that Garmin you recommended! It does seem like a lifesaver. I’ll have to put that on my list for Santa this year! Thanks for the recommendation. Since we’re looking to do more boondocking and hiking this year, that’ll come in handy. 🙏
@@Wanderlocal you should be able to claim it against your business...for staying in contact when your out of cell phone range...hopefully then you won't have to wait for Santa!.🎅😎❤🇺🇲
Daniel, there is a tradition out on the trail where other hikers give you a trail name. For instance my trail name is Too Many. I raise money and awareness for a nonprofit 22 Too Many that benefits families of veterans who committed suicide due to PTSD. So, I give you the trail name Silky since you were clearing the spider webs. You can veto the name if it is not acceptable to you. Lauren since you are the CEO, I would call you Boss! Happy Hiking!
Haha, very funny, Daniel !
This was such a fun day! 🥰
I love bernhiem forest I used to live close by and hiked those trails every day
amazing! The hikes here are beautiful. You were lucky to live so close by!
