My beloved grandmother died last night at 7:30 pm.Words cannot describe how much I loved her or how close we were...are.She stopped breathing earlier in the evening and was revived, even tho she had said many times that she was ready to go.At around the time she had stopped breathing and before I knew about it,my husband smiled at me and put on this song. The night passed and this morning I got up only for a short while then layed back down to sleep.I had not remembered hubby playing the song BUT the music and the main line in the chorus kept playing thru my mind over and over"we love the all the all of you"...over and over and over, although in my head I couldn't even tell the words being sung. When I woke hubby started telling me how suddenly,he had heard a voice(with no words)asking him to play something happy for me,something full of love, accompanied by a feeling of complete elation and love. When the song came to his mind and he played it,the voice then said "perfect".The whole time he is telling me about this experience, the song is still playing in my head and I am telling him"no,I don't know which song you are talking about".I started to ask him about THIS song playing in my head"Woo ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh ooooh oooooooh"....but I didn't.My grief was so very heavy at the moment,I didn't want to hear anything from anyone...but I love him so I listened. He found this version of the song with lyrics, handed me his phone and said "This is from Mamaw for YOU".The moment I heard the music, all the hair stood up on the back of my neck and I began to cry.It was this song, the song that had been playing thru my mind.I could barely believe it and I KNEW it was real.I KNEW it was her!!

On man. I remember being 15 back in 03 . I heard this song twice playing randomly on my local New Orleans rock station 106.7.i fell hard for this song. The problem was I had no clue who they were ,the name of the song and couldn't recall a single word of the the lyrics . I made it a mission to find out. Until 2 months later while in the middle of showing I barely heard the chorus playing through the tiny clock radio at the opposite end of the bathroom. As fast as I could, I ran butt naked to the little radio just in time to hear the DJ "that was "in the meantime by Spacehog." Needless to say I immediately downloaded the song moved it to my tiny Mp3 player where I most have played the song 50times in a row.
Daniel Seth love that, finding a song you thought you’d never hear again is one of the best feelings lol. I spent a long time trying to find the song “Tarzan boy” and all I knew was the “oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh” part which was as good as nothing. As soon as I found it I made a video for it on this channel and uploaded it so that other people could easily find it in the future 😄 I’m glad you were able to find your song too!

This came out in the 90s when I was about 15 or 16 I think. I loved it but forgot who did it. Then one day in 2010 the music at the very beginning of the song just popped into my head. My sister called a few minutes later, and said, "I have this song stuck in my head but just one part of it, like a "doo doo doo" thing and I can't figure out what it is." We both loved this song and hearing it from time to time takes me straight back to 1998 - which feels like it had to have been in a different world it was do drastically different than now. @@NemFX the dude has chosen the soundtrack for 2 different Guardians movies and 2 separate (although related) DC projects and knocked ot out of the park every time, using music spanning from the 70s to the 90s. It's not like this is even close to the first excellent song choice he's made.
Always loved this track since it came out in the 90's. Now the Guardians have brought it back for the next generation of rockers. Great lyrics, great tune, love the bass, awesome song. We love the all the all of you!
This track is mind blowing it’s like it was made just for me every word of every lyric holds meaning an this is the first time this has happened…. No ambiguity like other tracks….. every lyric….. it’s amazing - the universe speaks to me!!
Thanks, Sarah. Nice video. Nice font! Wonderful image. Thank you for playing it until the last note. I’m gonna watch your video until I learn the lyrics verbatim. Thank you! 🙏❤️
I remember this playing on MTV when I was a kid and remember loving the song but I never listened to anything else by this band. It brings back so many nostalgic memories when I hear this song. The Way by Fastball is another good 90's song with a crazy story behind it about an elderly couple that went missing while driving. Check out that story as it's really interesting.

Yeah, if you can play this your good. This song is double trouble if you are going to play and sing like this guy does. I mean, nevermind the fact that I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, but I can't even sing this song WITHOUT the damn bass in my hands, nor can I play this bass line well enough to play along with the song but this guy looks like he's not even trying and he's doing both at once.
I can play it, first song I learnt somehow but I can sing the chorus and play properly lol, it’s genuinely so difficult trying both throughout but hope I get there one day

This song about to be real popular again, ain’t it? Thank you James Gunn for blessing our ears with _yet_ again another great music choice. I swear, the dude has the best taste in irrelevant music(just like irrelevant superhero groups, lol) Can’t wait for May 5th!!!!
“One last time”-Rocket Raccoon
I did not write this
He might have just looked up one hit wonders from the 90s
@@NemFX the dude has chosen the soundtrack for 2 different Guardians movies and 2 separate (although related) DC projects and knocked ot out of the park every time, using music spanning from the 70s to the 90s. It's not like this is even close to the first excellent song choice he's made.
Its so good. Thank you GOTG Vol. 3 for bringing me here
Back when I was about 15 years old and in high school!! An awesome song!!!!

I remember when this song came out it was the greatest song and now after all these years it's back thank you guardians of the galaxy 💜

Thanks, Sarah. Nice video. Nice font! Wonderful image. Thank you for playing it until the last note. I’m gonna watch your video until I learn the lyrics verbatim. Thank you! 🙏❤️
I was so wrong about the lyrics. Thanks 4 this.Sensational song.🤠
This # right here and the later ninety's were pretty damn baddass!
I found this song before most thanks to a Huh Magazine compilation CD.
Anyone else?
Well shit. Thinking back that the 90s may have been the last time I was actually happy. Tears in my eyes.
“(The most pissed off he’s ever sounded) Pete. I’m done running” *Locks and loads*
Thank you for posting this, well done.
Thanks, Sarah. Awesome info in the description.❤️
This time came out when I was DJing on college radio...love it ever since
Spacehog residuals are about to start POURING IN .... get that money fellas
Thank you,Sarah!!
I feel like the lyrics were purposefully sung in such a way to make them indecipherable upon first hearing
Me I friggin love this song. I almost forgot it until the new guardians soundtrack came out. 🤘
My daughters favorite Jeni 1981 -1996 love it and I miss her everyday and I listen to it everyday
I remember playing this with my dad on Rockland 3 I was pretty young lol now I'm 17 I was watching guardians of the galaxy and heard this. Then was in the cr with m gf this came on the radio I was like wow holy shit.

Ooh ooh ooh hoo ooh ooh owooo, yep just rediscovered this, can't believe I bought this in 95 and forgot about it

goldbergs...thanks for the reminder of what a great tune this one is...
Just another Progression Of Badass unique Rock From The 90$
Such a great tune...bring back the 90's it was a much better time. 2023 sucks
It's amazing how you don't understand the lyrics of a song, till you actually see the lyrics. Then you hear them very clearly. Maybe, it's just me.
Guardians Of The Galaxy is about to make this song number 1 again.
GOTG Volume 3 trailer brings me here.
Am I the only one hearing aspects of T-Rex/Marc Bolan? Wonderful lyric video, thank you!
thanks!
My favourite song in the world gotten me through so damn much only reason I'm a somewhat successful bassist
