I cannot get enough of the black and white filming. At age 62, I am still old school on the filming. True color brings a lot out, but old school is the ONLY school.
This is Sunday 58 years ago or so every Sunday as my mother was getting 'The Babies' (my brothers were 2 and 4yrs, now 57 and 58) ready for church in Lansing Illinois, we 4 "older kids", (I was 7 or 8), we able to watch Loan Ranger 🐎and Roy Rogers on the 16in" tv, in the basement until 10.30 or so, at which time we were all plopped into the station wagon and driven by my father to the Methodist Church, on Burnham Rd. ⛪ That service lasted over an hour. I mean Over a full HOUR!! Then we had to stay for the coffee hour and we ate cookies and got to drink the only sweet punch my mother up have, all week. ⌚ When we got home it was time for Charlie Chan, then FINALLY Sherlock. Sunday's finally capped off with the BEST BEST show- Family Classics, with Frazier Thomas. Chicago channel 9 Still has not been conquered as THE iconic Sunday family station, 📺 in this human existence- Probably in the whole universe. 🌎 In the afternoon my father got to watch tv, he watched (gag) news, golf or baseball. Gaud- baseball !!
It is amazing to watch this again after 60 years! I like the music and the lighting too.
"Nothing will be hurt but your dignity". That was the best line so far in this episode, by Tonto. Still laughing about it. 7:36.
