Thanks for sharing this informative video, I had been to Tarsus and visited Paul's well, had my photo with the Cleopatra's Gate. I really enjoyed my Eastern Turkey tour.
I do wonder if Tarsus is Tarshish of the Old Testament? It seems more likely that there would have been Jewish settlers in Jonah's time compared to what some believe Tarshish to be in modern Spain which is all the way the other side of the Mediterranean.
No. Tarshish is what we now know as Spain. When Jonah fled to Tarshish, he would not have needed to board a ship, he would have been able to travel to Tarsus by foot, if that was where he fled to.
To the LADY who quoted ACTS 9:4-6 concerning apostle Saul's journey to Damascus when he blunded by tge strong light, the Jewish Mwssiah could.nit intriduced his name by an English name "JESUS" for conversation took place in HEBREW language only! Pls read ACTS 26:14,15. By the way, madam, wha bible version youre officially using?
Tarsus was Cleopatra’s city where her university was located. Paul was a chosen vessel because he was the next leader of the Pharisees, and he could travel freely in the Roman world because he was a Roman citizen. Paul was given the Gospel by revelation, not by witness of the Crucifixion. Paul was made blind on the road to Damascus because Jesus had pronounced judicial blindness upon on the Leaders in Jerusalem because they said they could see, but did not know their Messiah. Paul was given his sight back when he could see that Jesus was the risen Savior. Thus, God cut the head of the snake off the movement of the political Pharisees, and they were reduced to false teachers called Judaizers that Paul preached against. These are truths found by Holy Spirit revelation when you ask The Spirit to teach you. Paul was the only apostle sent to the Gentiles. He was a man who would never cease for any excuse or frailty, and the only reason gentiles are saved is because Paul took the message to Rome where it could spread to the world. Paul converted essentially all the Roman Praetorian Guard, and they were all world travelers and took the message with them. God is smarter than us all and he works by the least likely. Are you someone who is said to be least likely? God might be able to use you. We have Paul to thank for our salvation, without him, the message wouldn’t have come to the Gentiles at all. By count of the Roman christian catacombs and extrapolation from those numbers it is estimated that 100 million came to know Jesus Christ by the year 100 AD. Then Satan took the church into the idolatry of Mary and the miracles stopped inside the formal church around 600AD. The miracles have not stopped for true believers, just those who are under idolatry and preachers that don’t preach the truth. Any “ism” is a false region.
Just wanted you to know, people really dont care much about the word 'religion'. That's simply a man-made term to describe the way man has chosen to behave about a god, not even necessarily The God.
Saint Paul was the greatest carrier and spreader of the teachings of Jesus Christ ✝️ 🙏🏼🙌❤
