OMG!!! I passed my AANP boards yesterday, on my First try. I want to thank you for your videos I watched them the week before and of my test. Best information needed to tie things all together. I love the way you helped to remember the ABX for pregnancy and diabetic drugs!!! It was great!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!
*_I tried Fitzgerald, youtube, Barkley and l associates and some others and still failed 4 attempt. I feel so frustrated don't know what to do anymore._*
Frustration is a very positive sign. It means that the solution to your problem is within range, but what you're currently doing isn't working, and you need to change your approach in order to achieve your goal.
@Clifton Willard I once told myself I’m not going to continue knocking that old door that doesn’t open for me. I’m going to create my own door and walk through that.
I just want you’ll to know that if you are out there and you are being really hard on yourself right now for something that has happened … it’s normal. That is what is going to happen to you in life. No one gets through unscathed. We are all going to have a few scratches on us. Please be kind to yourselves and stand up for yourself, please.
Just now beginning my journey. I am so excited and can't wait to provide primary care. Your video helped me understand so much. I'm looking forward to seeing any other videos that you post. You were very thorough. Thank you for the information. Very well done.
Brittani, your review of antibiotics is better than the review classes you spend money on...please know you will be blessed for all you're doing. I am sooo thankful for your review. Outstanding! What's the difference between a morbilliform rash and red man syndrome? I understand it to be that the morbilliform rash is systemic and has raised bumps, a maculopapular exanthem that doesn't itch while the red man's syndrome is flat, itchy red rash that does itch only in the upper body. Are both are IgE mediated responses? Great mnemonics btw.
I am so overwhelmed 😲😲I finally did it I passed my exams💃💃🍾 with no stress OMG and this is my second time of taking the exams..pm me if you need guidance and if you want to know my strategy...I am so overwhelmed...good luck to all of you going in for the exams to 👍👍👍
Just stopping by to say thanks for the videos. I'm a year out from graduation but I start clinicals soon and wanted to be more prepared. Also, you're so stinkin' cute!
Can you provide some clarification on your "dump" slide at the end, which I think is very helpful: - for strep & mono concurrent, my Leik review (4th ed, pg 81) says penicillin is #1, back up is clarithromycin. you are saying cephalexin is #1? - for travelers diarrhea, Leik review said cipro as #1, this slide says azithromycin with levo/cipro back up. Thank you!

Hi Brittany..I’m have been an NP for 3 years..I work in vascular surgery..trying to change and relearn primary care..here reviewing with your videos. Very informative. Do you have any advise for me? I’m nervous about changing roles and not knowing the info..
Hi Yessica! Sorry for the delayed reply. Do you have the reference tool, the "Practice Guidelines for Nurse Practitioners?" I would say purchase that if you don't have it and review it. It is seriously so helpful! Along with any of my system specific videos (here on RUclips) that you feel you could user a refresher on. Also, it's helpful to have someone you can text or call, to bounce ideas off of, if you want a second opinion while in practice. Hopefully that's helpful. Good luck to you!

Thank you! You know, I've had a couple people just tell me this, so I tried a different format in my most recent video- pediatrics. I trie to make it easier to follow! Check it out & let me know if it's better! Appreciate the feedback :)
@@BrittaniNP Thanks for the detail and study tips! I'd LOVE to print out the slides or study sheets but find that the highlighting doesn't print well! can you make it so that its easier to print/copy? Especially interested in the last slide.

Rahila_haq@yahoo.com honestly.. you are a motivation and we have similar stories with obstacles in life not so much health for me but life in general and your so motivating and intelligent. Thanks again for sort of being that light during challenging times :) btw what hospital did you work in? I used to work in henry ford wyandotte hospital med surg floor :)
@@rahilahaq4104 Thank you so much for the kind words! Our obstacles definitely help to shape us. It's pretty cool how so many of us have personal reasons why we chose nursing. I actually worked at Beaumont FH in the ER for 4 years and now I'm contingent in the float pool!

Sometimes it doesn't matter how hard you study you also need to pray to God for success

Thanks, Brittani, for such an excellent antibiotic lecture! On the tetracycline slide, it should be mycoplasma and not microplasma.
