Hi Doug! Anytime you can pick up a '58, '59, and '68 Maris to go along with two Mantles, you had a heck of a show. I love to see cards like that added to your collection, being that you're a big Yankees fan and what those players represented to the team in that era. The '63 is one of my favorites because of the facade in the background. In 1963, he hit the facade against Bill Fischer of the Athletics. I believe it was one of at least two times he hit it, the other being in 1956. I love the shirts you, your son, and your older brother were wearing. Very creative and fun.

My collection is building its own story and I’m having a blast seeing where it’s going. In my collecting journey now being able to add Mantles & a Koufax rookie just seems surreal. As for the shirts, that is a huge thank you to my sweet daughter in law who made them. The best part of the trip for me, apart from meeting other content creators, was time spent with my son & brother. That was worth every penny. I was at the meet and greet(my first) along with yourself, as you mentioned it was hard to talk to each and every RUclipsr who was there that night, but I hope in the future our paths cross again to get to know each other better. excellent pickups! very much enjoy your channel and your collection! we are of similar age and share similar vintage collecting styles . I agree with it's the amount of friends you gain not subscribers that is important, such a great point! I have YT on the TV while I’m working so it’s challenging to keep up with commenting on videos too. It’s a good struggle to have because we are living in a great time in the hobby. @@mikesbaseballcards thanks Mike. We’ve had some doozies on storms. The past couple of years have seen new siding for the house and two new roofs because of the wonderful weather. I’m thankful for good homeowners insurance. Storms aside, it’s been a heckuva year for pick ups for me. Never would’ve dreamed that I’d be able to do a partial player run for the Mick. It will never be complete of course but I don’t care. Thanks for watching my friend.

@@CleanCheapShots the boys were tired and wanted to go back to the hotel so they took naps. We then got up and had pizza at a small Italian joint. We had to leave early Saturday morning so didn’t do much of anything else Friday night. The Thursday meet up was awesome.
