Yes, what a contrast between the countries culturally. Philippines warmth is unrivaled. People might not be the richest but it is amazing what positive attitudes people have. Maybe that is why a lot of Koreans love to come and visit.

Many countries in Southeast Asia are warm. Thai people are super warm too. And as a Filipina, most Filipinos are trying to distance ourselves from our colonial past and re-learn our identities again. As a Filipina, I connect more with other Asians. I do not feel any connection to Spain whatsoever...
It is very similar. I have latina friends aswell and they are just like filipinas also. The spanish culture stuck in the philippines and now is a part or our identity. Some people dont like that but many dont mind. For me, having the combination of latin and asian culture is what makes us filipinos 😊
@worldofxtra you have to come to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 we have so many similarities it’s crazy. The words in Spanish are the same for some foods as well. And the culture is really similar when it comes to been together with family and friends and the energy is amazing. I know you’ll love it. Great video ❤
I’m part Filipino too but I only lived in the Philippines for a while and then came back to Japan again. I wish I had the same experience as you, since I really didn’t really had any great experiences in the Philippines. I was bullied in my school, abused by my relatives, and I was completely hatred by everyone. My parents were in Japan and they didn’t know what was happening to me. I wish I could re-live my life in the Philippines but with great experiences. It looks so fun. The only great experiences I had was going to Jolibee and going to star city. My life in Japan is extremely fun and I’m really glad I came back. I’m still a teenager, maybe living in the Philippines for a while is not a bad idea, but I’d definitely have a culture shock. Cebu looks like a fun place I kinda wanna live there temporarily. My parents also wants to live in the Philippines after we graduated college so please reply if you have any recommended places that we should live in lol 😅 We’re definitely not going to live in Manila. We used to have a house there and we sold it. Also sorry if my grammar looks a bit weird I self-studied my English so it’s not really perfect. I’m also using my English account so my channel is in English.

i have filipino mix from my dad's family. never really got to know my family from there because my great great GREAT grandfather fled from the Philippines and converted to christianity to have a better life here. he even got adopted by someone who was of high position at the time because they saw him as his own son
