Just bought another one on sale on Amazon for a mere $400! I've had my first Pulsar like this for five years, no problems... love the dual fuel, the ease of starting, that is okay for my sensitive technology being pure sine and its reasonably light weight and quiet compared to most like it. I also like the exhaust being high up enough not to be such a fire hazard since I live in a forest. I think all generators should be required to have their exhaust positioned the same way.
I can't get mine to start or run on propane, new full tank, turn the fuel switch to the propane setting, screw on the regulator, open the tank, push the button on the regulator, make sure to not use the choke and pull till I get lightheaded and nothing, even unscrew the regulator from the generator and verify the propane is coming out the end of the fitting, still nothing. Put gas in the tank and it fires on the 2nd pull every time
I think I pull the choke out for two pulls then push it in and push the button on the regulator again and it usual starts on the next pull or two. It has been awhile since I ran it last but that is my recollection.
The propane hose and. regulator. are included. You must supply your own tank. I ran the full break in of 5 hours plus. several more hours later on the same tank. I have never run it until the propane tank was empty. I recall that the manufacturer says it will run for 75 minutes on a 1lb tank. at half load. I am not. sure why the say. that as it would require an adapter to use a 1lb tank.
@@kq4tv I believe they are saying you should get around 75 mins for each 1 lb in the tank. The average exchange 20 lb cylinder holds only about 15 lbs of propane. 75 mins X 15 lbs= 1125 mins divided by 60 = 18.75 hours for a so-called 20 lb cylinder.

Thanks the video. Just ordered one of those from Amazon. Such a good price to be able to use propane as well as my other gas generators.

Hello, Does this include everything needed to run on propane? Do you know the run time on a 20lb tank? Thank you
