    I really LOVE this hoodie!!! I have made 4 of them now. I would highly recommend doing a reverse purl for this hat (drawing the new loop from the bottom of the old loop instead of the top). It puts the beautiful V-shape side of the pearl on the right side in harmony with the beautiful side of the e-wrap. I didn't do that for the first 3 of my hats, but I have for the fourth one. I love it all that much more!! Thank you for this pattern . . . its wonderful!!

    Any thoughts on using really thick or heavy weighted yearn? Like the stuff that's over an inch thick? Like the rug stuff. I'm thinking something like that might be cool. I think I would need a different larger loom. Much much larger.

    • @SimplyIntertwined
      @SimplyIntertwined  2 года назад

      You could get "Zippy" looms. They can work with really thick yarn I have some but haven't used much yet. Still getting used to them.

    Is there a way to make a mask on the cowl to cover your upper face

    • @SimplyIntertwined

      You might be able to crochet an add on if you wanted or loom knit it and sew it on later.

    Hi Virginia, does this hooded cowl have a point at the back of the head? I am trying to find a pattern where the hood part isn't pointed. I can't tell from the photos.

  • @mva396
    @mva396 7 лет назад

    After the hood, and after the 6 extra rows, do you have to use purl stitch? Can I just continue doing e-wrap? What's the pro's and con's?

    • @SimplyIntertwined
      @SimplyIntertwined  7 лет назад

      There really isn't pro's or con's. :) It just depends on how you want it to look. :) So, yes, you can continue with the e-wrap for the same amount of rows I did the purl unless you need to adjust it. If you did a different stitch other than ewrap or purl the amount of rows you might need would change, like if you did a 1 over 2 stitch (Double Stitch).

    I have a 56 peg round loom. Can I just knit the same stitches you did and have it still come out right?

    • @SimplyIntertwined
      @SimplyIntertwined  5 лет назад +1

      I don't know. The difference in loom used might affect it. You would have to make it and see if the fit is right for you.

      @@SimplyIntertwined Once I can get the yarn for it, I'll try it and let you know. It might be awhile though.

    Hi is this possible to make with the long loom thank you

    • @SimplyIntertwined
      @SimplyIntertwined  4 года назад

      Yes, but it might have more a "point" in the hat and you may not have the snugness you want in the cowl. Have you seen this video of mine? ruclips.net/video/BPOhc1V0c4U/видео.html

    This is quite confusing. The first two rows seem simple but when you start with skipping a row that is what becomes confusing. Is there anyway that you can clarify and simplify this pattern?

    • @SimplyIntertwined
      @SimplyIntertwined  6 лет назад

      I tried to keep it as simple as I could. When doing the hood you work your way decreasing the pegs you use then back to increasing them to finish off the hood. I think that might be the part that is confusing you. I'm not sure how to simplify it.

    I am working on this and I am having problems with the stitches not lining up correctly when you start going towards the beginning of the loom. I have tried wrapping the yarn differently and that didn't help. Do you have any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?

    • @SimplyIntertwined
      @SimplyIntertwined  6 лет назад

      It's hard to say. Is it the part where you decrease then increase to make the hood? Are you using the same stitch I am in the video?

      I don't remember but I probably used a regular size skein of Red Heart yarn of both colors and had some left over. Hope that helps.

      You should be able to do the same idea but your size mostly likely will be different.
