Arribada Playa Ostional Costa Rica (Drone 4k Olive Ridley Turtles)

One of the largest Olive Ridley nesting areas in the world is located in Playa Ostional Costa Rica (Guanacaste). This footage was taken from a distance ensuring no interference of the nesting process during the month of October. The rainy season generally has larger amounts of turtles. There are 3 species that lay in Ostional. They are the Olive Ridley, Central American and the Leatherback. The hatchings are equally as impressive. During this time the beaches are closed expect for local biologist and tour guides. If you visit the area please make sure you respect the park laws.
