First lap smash! Epic night race at Three Sisters Karting

- Heat 2 in the first round of the Three Sisters Outdoor Karting Summer Sprint Championship held in Wigan. This one is a reverse grid from qualifying - but as I'd qualified mid-pack, it basically just meant I'd start mid-pack again. Fun fun. A spinner in the first few corners nearly wiped me out, and then I settled down to learning more race craft and battling all race long.

Hey mate, can I ask how you recorded this? From what I can tell your camera is in your helmet, but the FAQ for the site says they only allow chest mounts. Did they let you use any other kind of mount? I think im gonna be racing here soon and I'm hoping theyd let me use my chin mount or some other kind of helmet mount like this 😅
Of course man! I’ve got a tiny Insta360 Go 3 which clips into the inside of my helmet (I did an awful RUclips short showing it, it should be on my channel!) - three sisters don’t allow any external helmet mounts unfortunately - I really wanted to try a 360 cam on top of the helmet! I’ve seen others using shoulder mounts there too for GoPros etc. Loving your vids mate 👊
