    What are the prospects for international students after pursuing an MIB/MIM/MScIM from good business schools in the USA? How is the ROI, and how easy or difficult is it to get a job? Do they deport students after the 90-day period post-course completion? I'm planning to start in the September 2025 intake. Additionally, which is better: MIM in Europe or MIM in the USA?

    • @MBACrystalBall
      @MBACrystalBall  4 месяца назад

      Going abroad as an international student without experience is always risky, since there's nothing (e.g. proven skills, experience, track record) beyond the new degree that companies can use. MiM is more popular in Europe than in USA. We have another detailed video on it.

Been working in the international creative marketing, entertainment business and education fields for over 12 years now. I am considering moving into higher level international roles. For someone like me, the best step would be to get an MBA, correct?

    • @MBACrystalBall
      @MBACrystalBall  6 месяцев назад

      It could be an option to consider, but only if you think you've developed a good repository of skills that other (international) companies will value. This would mean that you do a thorough analysis of your strengths and weakness first to identify the gaps, and also consider other (non-MBA) routes to getting to your goals.. If you need help we that, send us an email.

    Hi my name is Grishma.
    I had a query regarding what could be best for me? MIB/MBA? And what would be the job prospects for me? After that?
    Let me tell you a little about myself. So I’m a non-technical person. I have done my Bachelor of Arts(Program) from Delhi University. I have around 3-4 years of work exp as an HR. And 4-5 years of Total experience. I have also done my MBA(distance mode).
    I’m planning to change my line. And thinking to do a 1 year thing.
    But still what ever gets me a good job as I want to settle in Europe and make a life there.
    Please guide.
    Thank you.

    • @MBACrystalBall
      @MBACrystalBall  4 года назад

      Between the two, an MBA will be a better fit than an MIB, as you already have several years of work experience. Keep in mind that a career change can be very challenging in a foreign country, more so when you'd be competing with domestic graduates for those jobs.

    • @grishmagovil6799
      @grishmagovil6799 4 года назад

      MBA Crystal Ball
      So according to you. I should continue my career in HR only? As in do an MBA in HR? But will I get jobs in a foreign country? After MBA in HR? Also, when I already have an MBA? Even though it’s part time? Is it advisable to spend so much money in a 2 year course? I’m just trying to understand. Please don’t take me otherwise.

    • @MBACrystalBall
      @MBACrystalBall  4 года назад

      No, others cannot suggest any specific domain to choose. You'll have to take that decision based on which stream interests you. If you are already in HR and looking for a way out, it won't help you go for another degree that pushes you deeper into that field. We're just highlighting the risks of going abroad, since many assume it'll be easy once they get the degree.

    If I'm from a BBA background and I want to do MBA in international business management ( not MIB)

      MIB is for fresh grads who have little or no experience. MBA is for experience professionals. You can have multiple specialisations in top MBA programs. If you aren't sure, better to gain a few years of experience and then consider a regular MBA.

      Both are quite similar in the overall positioning, with MiM being a bit more general management oriented. But also be aware that it can be difficult for an international student to get a job in a new country, when he has no experience that recruiters can use. Which is why we recommend getting some work experience first before considering any international management degree.

So we used Financial Times and simply filtered out the ones that had 'international' in them, rather than the generic masters. You can access a more comprehensive list from Financial Times. You'll find only LBS MiM among the top 10 programs in this category (but it's a general MiM, so we skipped it here). If you go lower down in their list, you'll find other UK names such as Imperial, Warwick, Cass, Lancaster.

      The first question that'll come up in the minds of admission officers - why do you have only 3 years of experience? What's the reason for the big gap? If you have a strong rationale for it, they'll then focus on the rest of the application components like GMAT score, quality of experience, goals etc.
