What are the prospects for international students after pursuing an MIB/MIM/MScIM from good business schools in the USA? How is the ROI, and how easy or difficult is it to get a job? Do they deport students after the 90-day period post-course completion? I'm planning to start in the September 2025 intake. Additionally, which is better: MIM in Europe or MIM in the USA?
Going abroad as an international student without experience is always risky, since there's nothing (e.g. proven skills, experience, track record) beyond the new degree that companies can use. MiM is more popular in Europe than in USA. We have another detailed video on it.
I have a Bachelors in International Business. Minor in Japanese. Moved from USA to Japan 11 years ago. Been working in the international creative marketing, entertainment business and education fields for over 12 years now. I am considering moving into higher level international roles. For someone like me, the best step would be to get an MBA, correct?
It could be an option to consider, but only if you think you've developed a good repository of skills that other (international) companies will value. This would mean that you do a thorough analysis of your strengths and weakness first to identify the gaps, and also consider other (non-MBA) routes to getting to your goals.. If you need help we that, send us an email.
For all the good & selective programs. yes you'd need a competitive GMAT score. You'll find many that may skip the score requirement. If you're targetting those, make sure you do a detailed research on their market value.

Hi What's the scope of MBA in international business in Germany ? (Have completed all the levels of German ) Am having 1 year of work experience in consulting . And planning my MBA in 2022 ( Means 3 yrs of work ex.) What will be better for me ? MIB OR MBA?
@@MBACrystalBall okay thank you. Gonna give you a mail by December 2020 with my GMAT score after that we will be taking the process forward... Thanks for all the valuable information.
Similar masters programs can be packaged in different ways by different universities. You can check their syllabus to see what's similar and different.
The international programs we focus on don't have any specific specialisation in communication management. It's among many of the electives that students can take up.
International MBA programs by default are designed for international business. So you won't find a specific specialization in international business, as you would in a masters program (such as MIB). Do you have a specific function that you want to work in?
International MBA programs expect work experience. For now MIB, or MiM, would be a better fit. But do consider the risks too, before taking the plunge.
The MIB is clearly out of the race. MBA will be a better fit. However, after 10 years of experience, the number of relevant programs also start thinning down. Are you aiming for a geography shift & career change?
That would push the risk levels higher, as it can become tougher to change too many parameters. Make sure you evaluate all the implications before moving ahead.
There's no better or worse. The choice of program should be influenced by your area of interest and also your career goals. Don't rely on what others suggest.
i have heared from college professors saying that MIB is not of good value....rather M.Com matters .... MIB graduates also had the same opinion...just one video cannot prove that MIB is worth stuying...so clarify it with experienced people in Universities or any of your well-wishers .
Each degree has their good and bad points - whether it's MIM, MBA or any other. It's always important to connect with other students and alumni to find out their experiences.

Hello Sameer sir, first of all I'm a huge fan of your videos. I'm a BBA student and currently planning for a mim or mib in Canada, I'm totally confused in these two. Can you suggest me some ways to find better degree?
Both are quite similar in the overall positioning, with MiM being a bit more general management oriented. But also be aware that it can be difficult for an international student to get a job in a new country, when he has no experience that recruiters can use. Which is why we recommend getting some work experience first before considering any international management degree.

Should I prepare for CAT to pursue MBA in India .I have only 6-7 months work experience. It is a very tough situation for me and my whole career will depend on this decision. Kindly give me some suggestion.
Our general advice is to get a few years of work experience before considering an MBA degree. If you're not sure at this stage, it's better to take a step back and focus on gaining some good skills in the corporate world. Also watch this video: ruclips.net/video/5-pbfgtlh9E/видео.html
Sir, i have reached you on linkedin too, as you mentioned in this video that Europe is the best place for MIB, i wanna ask that what are the opportunities in USA for MIB students and is doing MIB from USA is a right decision?
USA is mostly about the MBA. While there are other MS level degrees on offer too, such as MiM, MIB etc, they're not as mainstream. So make sure you're going for the flagship program of the bschool which has been proven in the industry.
Hi Sir, I am an engineering graduate with 2 years experience in the Business analytics(IT sector)..did some research of my own...do the colleges accept students from an engineering background as I want to get a business degree but don't have enough experience to get into proper MBA programs that's why was interested in the MIB programme
Yes, bschools get tons of applicants from engineering backgrounds. But since you already have 2 years of experience, an MIB won't be a good fit either. Better to wait for a year and try for regular MBA programs.
Hello sir, Can you please help educate me. I am planning to do an MBA and I would like to know what MBA in International Business exactly is and what it contains etc. Since you've made a video on MIB already, maybe you can tell me the differences? ( pros and cons too )
Take the call based on where you want to specialise in SCM or want a more broad-based degree. Another option is to wait for a few years and get an MBA which has more impact than an MIB or MS SCM.
Nice video 👍 I'm a Bca undergrad student. I was a commerce student in 12th grade. So is it considered? Could you make a video on MIM and MIB difference. That would helpful.
Both programs are open to applicants with a wider range of undergrad degrees. The primary difference between the two is that one (MIB) is more specialised towards international businesses, while the other is more of a general management degree.
The main different is the target group for which the degree is designed. MBA is for experienced candidates, while MIB is for fresh graduates and those with under 2 years of experience. The post graduation roles and salaries also reflect this difference.
Hi! I got 66% in 10th and I'm expecting 70-80% in 12th. I really want to do my MBA from top B-Schools. What should I do and what areas should I work on apart from UG marks and CAT/GMAT that would possibly compensate for the bad academics? Thanks!
For GMAT programs, 10th and 12th marks don't matter. Getting more experience would be a good way to avoid the entire focus ending up on the acads. And yes, a high GMAT score would help too.
@@MBACrystalBall Sir Global MBA is other variant of Regular MBA it provides education in international business management and it helps students to explore global business operations. Sir, I have 2 years of experience in the finance department of a company. Plus, I graduated from Management and Business Administration field. Which one do you recommend me to do for my masters degree, MBA or MIB?
Sir. I am a offer holder for Msc in International Business from University of Warwick for September 2020 intake and also from King’s College London for Msc International Management. I’d appreciate if you could please tell me which university is better in terms of business? It will be easier for me to finalize the university.
MBA Crystal Ball . Sir as per my research WBS has a globally renowned and prestigious business school. On the other hand KCL has overall international reputation and is in the heart of London. I spoke to students from both the universities and their experience was good. So I won’t regret choosing either one of them. But it’s quite confusing. I’m more inclined to KCL. But as a business school WBS has more established and renowned business school. Sir I would also like to know your opinion about these two business schools?
Your research is spot on. A few things to keep in mind. While a bschool might be reputed, not all programs it offers are in the same league. An MBA is their flagship program, not the MSc. So go with the one that you think fits your interests, budget and career aspirations in the best possible manner.
Sir... I am a science graduate & now I'm thinking about going with MBA in international business. Should i take IB as specification or i should go with any other mba course? And which subject is best choose as minor with major in IB?

Most reputed rankings club MiM/MIB/MS in business variation under the same umbrella. So we used Financial Times and simply filtered out the ones that had 'international' in them, rather than the generic masters. You can access a more comprehensive list from Financial Times. You'll find only LBS MiM among the top 10 programs in this category (but it's a general MiM, so we skipped it here). If you go lower down in their list, you'll find other UK names such as Imperial, Warwick, Cass, Lancaster.

SO, I want to pursue my MBA from international universities. I have selected some colleges where I can do my MBA Like Insead, Arizona, Columbia etc. What are the chances of getting in to these colleges. How to get in to these universities. Kindly suggest. Thank you.
The first question that'll come up in the minds of admission officers - why do you have only 3 years of experience? What's the reason for the big gap? If you have a strong rationale for it, they'll then focus on the rest of the application components like GMAT score, quality of experience, goals etc.

Or should I go for a normal BBA to explore the things? Please it would be great if you can guide me with your witty suggestions.
MIB doesn't care much about your undergrad specialisation. Go with whatever degree you prefer, and do well in it.
hey ! i have same doubt ..whether should i do BBA (IB) or should go for general bba ..bcoz i also want to pursue MIB in future ..so if u have any tips of what i should do ...i will be grateful .
My daughter wants to do MIB in Germany, she has done BBA Symbiosis Pune . Pls help me to understand her future prospects .
Since these are specialised programs and the economic scenario is rapidly evolving across the world, it's best to check directly with current students of your target programs to find out the ground realities, risks and opportunities.
Hi
What's the scope of MBA in international business in Germany ?
(Have completed all the levels of German )
Am having 1 year of work experience in consulting . And planning my MBA in 2022 ( Means 3 yrs of work ex.)
What will be better for me ? MIB OR MBA?
You'll be a better fit for MBA programs. MIB is for freshers.
@@MBACrystalBall okay thank you.
Gonna give you a mail by December 2020 with my GMAT score after that we will be taking the process forward...
Thanks for all the valuable information.
Masters in international business and international management
Can u plz explain the difference or r they same things?
Similar masters programs can be packaged in different ways by different universities. You can check their syllabus to see what's similar and different.
Can you make a video about the list of best universities in the UK that offer MIB?
You can check the reputed rankings to get the list.
Hlw sir I am planning to do BBA from IB should I please reply 🙏
PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO ON COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT.
The international programs we focus on don't have any specific specialisation in communication management. It's among many of the electives that students can take up.
master in business and mib are same? looking forward to hear from you'
There are many variations to it, though the underlying focus remains similar. Check their syllabus to see what is different.
Sir I am a Structural engineer with 4 years of experience, want to shift my career. How would MBA in IB would benefit me.
International MBA programs by default are designed for international business. So you won't find a specific specialization in international business, as you would in a masters program (such as MIB). Do you have a specific function that you want to work in?
Coming from art's background and wish to change my industry and job role, i have no job experience in business field. Should I go for MBA or MiB
International MBA programs expect work experience. For now MIB, or MiM, would be a better fit. But do consider the risks too, before taking the plunge.
can u suggest me b schools in canada and australia for M(IB)..??
A vedio about. Supply Chain Management. Course

Thanks for your video. Could you plz advise which good university is teaching for MIB?
We've listed the best universities/bschools for MIB in the video.
Very informative video, I have a work experience of 10 yrs in bank after my graduation, which one will be better option for me MIB or MBA,
The MIB is clearly out of the race. MBA will be a better fit. However, after 10 years of experience, the number of relevant programs also start thinning down. Are you aiming for a geography shift & career change?
@@MBACrystalBall I m looking for both carrier and geography change
That would push the risk levels higher, as it can become tougher to change too many parameters. Make sure you evaluate all the implications before moving ahead.
It is nice, but how to work with MIB tables? How to add them into Zabbix?
www.zabbix.com/documentation/current/manual/config/items/itemtypes/snmp/mibs
Hi sir, Is it better to do masters in international business or masters in supply chain from Australia?
There's no better or worse. The choice of program should be influenced by your area of interest and also your career goals. Don't rely on what others suggest.
i have heared from college professors saying that MIB is not of good value....rather M.Com matters .... MIB graduates also had the same opinion...just one video cannot prove that MIB is worth stuying...so clarify it with experienced people in Universities or any of your well-wishers .
Each degree has their good and bad points - whether it's MIM, MBA or any other. It's always important to connect with other students and alumni to find out their experiences.
@@MBACrystalBall yes that is what i have said too for the viewers who trust only one single video to decide their profession...kindly do not take any major descision based one one video 👍
@@ancy4613 Wise advice. Thanks for sharing it.
Could you please tell me difference between MIM and MIB.?
MiM is more general management oriented, while MIB has a focus on international business.
Which university are you applying for MIB
Sir please do a video on Comparing the MIM vs MIB vs Masters in Finance courses, and their value in country to country and salaries and job opportunity and eligibility and the recruiters and more..
Please do msc in finance
Can I get admission in top college for mba without experience in corporate and finance sector just with good GMAT or GRE score and good grades.
Quite unlikely for the top international ones. Better to wait for a few years and then apply.
Sir,I am planning to do MBA and I am a B.tech graduate.I need your advice on pursuing MBA from India or Abroad .Finally ,after MBA I want to settle in India only .Will I get good jobs in India after doing MBA from University of Melbourne, in Australia?
Hello sir,
Can you please help educate me.
I am planning to do an MBA and I would like to know what MBA in International Business exactly is and what it contains etc.
Since you've made a video on MIB already, maybe you can tell me the differences? ( pros and cons too )
In short, the MIB is for freshers while MBA is for experienced candidates.
@@MBACrystalBall Thank you
Hey pls pls reply to me. What’s is better in uk MIB or ms supply chain?
Take the call based on where you want to specialise in SCM or want a more broad-based degree. Another option is to wait for a few years and get an MBA which has more impact than an MIB or MS SCM.
Nice video 👍
I'm a Bca undergrad student.
Is there a major difference between MBA in IB vs MS in IB ???
Please 🙏
The main different is the target group for which the degree is designed. MBA is for experienced candidates, while MIB is for fresh graduates and those with under 2 years of experience. The post graduation roles and salaries also reflect this difference.
@@MBACrystalBall can you make video on the Jobs and Salary of MIB ?
@@rohitgangatkar5723 The video above provides a general overview of MIB, including an indication of the salary range.
Sir,
Msc in Management and MIM are same.
Inherently there are more similarities than differences, since the course content is pretty much on the same lines and targeted at the same audience.
Sir Kindly cover the other variations in MBA like Global MBA & Executive MBA Kindly make videos on these sorts of MBA
Thanks for the suggestion. We already have a video on Executive MBA. Do check it out.
@@MBACrystalBall Thanks Sir But kindly make video on Global MBA I will be highly thankful of you 🙂
Global MBA is not a standard industry term, though some bschools use it to stand out. What's your definition of it? And who's offering it?
@@MBACrystalBall Sir Global MBA is other variant of Regular MBA it provides education in international business management and it helps students to explore global business operations.
And according to my approach Global MBA is specifically offered by University of London (Uol) and GISMA Business School Germany . Sir in your video of MBA in Germany You didn't tell about GISMA business school As it's also ranked in top business schools of Germany .
@@saifshaikh46 Most folks who work with us don't target those 2 programs. And the elite ones don't call their programs Global MBA, though all of them focus on global businesses. Like we said before, don't get carried away by the terminology.
How is skema business school for MSc in international business
We're not aware of it.
Sir , I want to pursue MSc in international business management... from Uk , should I go for it ?
You'll have to take the call based on how you think you'd be able to use it, and if it would be aligned with your career goals.
What should I study after 12th commerce to be eligible for MIB?... WHAT UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE WOULD BE BETTER
MIB programs accept applicants from wide ranging undergrad degrees, as long as it satisfies their general eligibility conditions.
What all can be my options in the bachelor degree if I want to peruse MIB ( HR)
Thank you!
Business masters degrees generally don't care much about the bachelors degree specialisation. What they focus on it your motivation to pursue a business degree and your plans after that.
sir, I thought to take FM in MBA can you guide b/w
MIB and FM which one better and has more placement
thanks for your information. My daughter studying in RMIT UNIVERSTIY IN SIM IN SINGAPORE. SHE WANTS TO DO MIB IN RMIT AUSTRALIA . GIVE SOME SUGGESTION IS REALLY APPRECIATED
THANKS
We don't have much insight to share on RMIT since it doesn't rank among the global 100 bschools.
Sir, I have 2 years of experience in the finance department of a company. Plus, I graduated from Management and Business Administration field. Which one do you recommend me to do for my masters degree, MBA or MIB?
You've just tipped the scales on the work experience to move out of the typical zone for MIB, and into the MBA side.
Sir. I am a offer holder for Msc in International Business from University of Warwick for September 2020 intake and also from King’s College London for Msc International Management. I’d appreciate if you could please tell me which university is better in terms of business? It will be easier for me to finalize the university.
What does your research say? And which one are you inclined towards?
MBA Crystal Ball Thank you Sir.
Sir... I am a science graduate & now I'm thinking about going with MBA in international business. Should i take IB as specification or i should go with any other mba course? And which subject is best choose as minor with major in IB?
You'll have to take the call based on what you're short and long term career plans are. Relying on what others say can backfire.
sir i completed bcom and pursuing acs(company secretaryship)i decided to do masters which one is best mba or mib?
MBA is more reputed and globally recognised.
Sir can you explain difference between mib and MBA in foreign trade, MBA ib
The latter sounds more like an Indian terminology. We haven't worked with anyone for that. Check out the syllabus for the two, to understand the differences.
Mib and masters in international management is same ?
They're similar in many respects, with one (MIB) being a little more specialised than the other (MiM).
Hello teacher
I really interested international business.
You guys did not mention UK schools programmes and rankings
Most reputed rankings club MiM/MIB/MS in business variation under the same umbrella. So we used Financial Times and simply filtered out the ones that had 'international' in them, rather than the generic masters. You can access a more comprehensive list from Financial Times. You'll find only LBS MiM among the top 10 programs in this category (but it's a general MiM, so we skipped it here). If you go lower down in their list, you'll find other UK names such as Imperial, Warwick, Cass, Lancaster.
is MSc international business and Master of international business different or same ?
Same wine, different bottles. One is general management focused, while the other one has a specialisation.
Hello sir, master international business mangment after llb law . will be Bright
Difficult for others to say what's right for you. Take the call based on your career aspirations and personal preferences.

Hi sir,
I have done BE I computers and passed in the year 2011. But I have only 3 years of IT experience. Now I am not satisfied with job profile which I am in. I want to be in leadership roles.
Sir,Is there any country you recommend for an MBA for Indians or India's MBA programme are the best for Indians?
