  • My attempt at a horseshoe heart that so many other smiths on youtube have done. Out of all the things I have tried recently I found this one of the hardest to master!
    Great as a trivet or hanging decoration. #GaryHuston #Blacksmithing #Farrier #ASMR #Horseshoeing #Fabrication #Ironwork #Hoofcare #welder #repairs #horse #farriery #engineering

Bloody brilliant Gary! I succeeded on a size 7 shoe after 4 attempts a fortnight ago! I made 2 of them and payed to have mirrors put in. My mother in law and girlfriend loved them!

You make it look so easy. I've had two attempts at this and neither of them went well. I'll try again with a larger shoe though.
    Cheers for the video Gary!

wow, all of these that ive made so far have been from very small shoes.i really like how it looks made from a large one, much taller.this is a very good version of this project.also the weather is crap here in oregon too, so you are not alone with your camera problems.shop video will probably be up later

I tried a couple with small shoes and had a real problem, so, tried a big one and found it much easier. I think I will now try the small one again now I have an idea what I'm doing!
Look forward to your shop vid...

Have you tried using the other end of the anvil? So it dose not keep hitting and getting in the way of the anvils body. But good video, keep up the hard work..
