On which settings (on the back) do you use it for drums? On fast I can't compress over 30-40%. Higher settings ends with high peak clicks over the drum sounds.

I have mine on Fast and it seems to be ok. I tend to use it on the master bus for my main mix though

So i can feed in a mono signal and output a stereo on into a stereo fox module?

Yes the mono signal is duplicated L->R channel then output
