I personally own a Honda Jazz GE6. I've felt your struggle by dismantling literally everything just to reach the transmission housing. Felt that numbness thing at 17:30. The struggle and pain of working alone. But indeed Great work! I personally would never do this without any help but you simply did it Alone and in a span of less than an hour. Hope the car owner paid you more than you should. Kudos to you mate! Bless you! Thanks for sharing!
Taking the whole air intake off is 2 10mm bolts, 1 vacuum hose, 1 electrical connector and a jubilee clip.. Makes access to the top of the gearbox a whole lot easier.. But respect to all your work and sharing the skills... Top man
@@WMCS Exactly the same method as you used, the box on the chest and out from under the car, hahahahahahah The difference is that at that time the disassembly transmissions were much more difficult, anyway you did a great job, congrat :)
zgabeartza iftodie I bet in the earlier days the transmission was a lot heavier... nowadays they’re made mostly forged metal ... but great to hear of your experience
I swear, the job it ain't that hard, but because titanium nuts/bolts are too expensive to put everywhere, it just makes you go insane. Even more if you don't have a garage to work in warm conditions. Engineering them to be totally easy to repair would be really helpful tho. I had to put titanium bolts and nuts on mine tho, and on bike and push bike as well, cannot live without them...
what would cause a big thunk or jerk when trying to accelerate after the clutch is fully engaged after upshifting? feels like drivetrain lash.. clutch doesn't slip.
You work so quickly and efficiently. Amazing skills!! 👍 Who the hell invented front wheel drives. Fcuk me!! I replaced the clutch on my MkII Cortina when I was 19 back in 1984 and it was a pain in the arse. Watching this I think I should have been thankful. When my Jazz is need of a new clutch I'm definitely going to pay a mechanic to do it and I hope he's as good as you bro. ✊
Best mechanic I ever watch.. You saved me a lot of hours I replaced new clutch and realease bearing , started engine up and noisy bearing still there when I took my foot of the clutch... What bearing could it be ?? Thanks for advance Keven
hi.... i had my clutch replaced last year for a 2013 jazz... after replacement something is squeaking when the engine gets hot. any idea what it might be? only happens when the clutch hits the biting point and only during moving forward. no sound on reverse.
i have same problem and also the same car jazz 1,4 petrol 117000mile when i saw this mybe i wil change the gearbox an the cluntch i know nothing about car but you give me like i can do this

Thanks mate for a brilliant video. I loved that moment where you had just managed to lift the gearbox back into place. I felt your relief.
