exceptional comment because no. absurd asinine and above all obnoxious. unrealistic and goofy as the day is long. the ages have come and this is classic propaganda. with a nice promo for bathroom drinking.
This movie is a classic of comedic brilliance. I will argue that Fields was a genius who influenced a lot of people including my man Redd Foxx who in my opinion had the funniest sitcom ever - Sanford and Son. Why do I say this? Two reasons, first look when he pulls all the junk from the nightstand (Fred did that with his glasses remember?). Second Redd had a very short variety show after S & S and in one of the scetches he imitated exactly Fields golf specialist bit - if you don't believe me search for it, I still think it's on YT. Either way Fields was a treasure and I'm glad to enjoy these movies when I need to laugh. Cracked up when he straightened out lazy old Claude (Grady Sutton) towards the end.
Whilst watching the antics of Bill Fields: My laughter initiated several minutes of violent vomiting. As I was in a weakened state, I lost control of my bowels & urinary bladder...Yesterday, I had suffered from a life-threatening nose-bleed. As for tomorrow: I hope to be delivered to the mortician in a state that reflects, contradictorily of course, vibrancy in health & pallor.
"There are burglars singing in the cellar ....Oh what are they singing?" A great scene from a great movie.
"I think I'll go in and brush my teeth first"
Exceptional work, acting, writing and directing. A classic comedy for ages to come.

"Did I kill ya?"
My aunt was like that. She was a good back seat driver too! "Look out, look out!"
"Lips that touch liquor will never touch mine." That may be how drinking straws came to be invented.

As funny as Fields' is in this scene, Mary Brian's pleading is hilarious.
Yes, she is so over the top, she's ridiculously funny.
