Outrigger 5 star beach resort Room tour Mauritius

Outrigger beach resort located in Bel Ombré is a plantation-style hotel with a casual beach vibe. It is a 5 star resort, which has properties in various countries across the globe.
The hotel checkin time is 2pm and checkout time is 12 noon.
Despite the grand lobby, arriving at Outrigger is rather like arriving home - understated, laid back and instantly relaxing. The view from the lobby epitomises the hotel beautifully, with one's eye taken from the grand plantation-style building along the still, shallow pool to the beach.
Heading towards the beach, the resort opens up into a strip of green space that's fronted by lounger-lined pools and edged by plantation-style blocks that house the various rooms.
Ranging from the standard Ocean View room to the luxurious Beachfront Villa, every room here offers a view of the sea (ones on the ground floor have small balconies).
There are four pools in total, the main one sat right on the beach surrounded by cabanas, beans bags, deck chairs and a small water slide that children will love.
Navasana Spa is surprisingly large and offers a wide range treatments, while the more adventurous will appreciate the variety of activities on offer including windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and snorkel excursions.
They have 4 restaurants in total.
Mercado is the main buffet restaurant, serving up cuisine from around the world at different stations. The food here’s spectacular, and has enough variety from across the globe.
There’s also something for the grown-ups, with the adjoining Rouben’s Wine Room showcasing more than 700 vintages.
Bar Bleu (for short eats and drinks) is good & Edgewater (good breakfast) are smaller than Mercado but have great food! Try to atleast once during your stay!
If you’re keen to try the local cuisine, dinner at the Plantation Club - the only modern Creole fine dining restaurant in a five-star resort on the island - is an absolute must.
