That's a good point about premature wear on the Omega springs. Although I don't particularly like crossbar locks because of the weakness of Omega springs over time, I hadn't thought of that.👍
Love anything Ray does. The size is good and the blade is lovely. I'd like to see a premium version. Met another knife guy at church and pulled my Rosalinda out. He said "Ray Laconico" as soon as it cleared my pocket and sighed.
Ray Laconico design........Not many know this but Mr. Laconico designs his knives just to fit my hands perfectly, and they do! Great design as usual on the scales and another win for our team. Thank you for another great video JB!
I have always liked Ray Laconico's designs but as a lefty, I was never able to own them in the past. This would be my second Laconico, thanks Ray, and thank you JB for sharing.
This is a very nice knife in my world! I love the blade on this knife. Thanks for taking the time to share this JB! Great job! Hope you have a great day my friend!
brotha jb, thats in my style there , cool blade for sure , i like it , thanks for sharing , get some tactical rucksack/bug out bag items on the channel or land nav. items too brotha , these would be great , i would love to see whats out there to add to mine possibly , thanks again . tom !
Prada and Hectare make a nice one-two punch for CJRB. My friend has a Hectare that doesn’t have the best action, but I suspect a tune-up would do wonders for it based on what I’m seeing from CJRB online.
I really like this knife I really hope artisan decides to make this same knife but as a liner lock if there was a liner lock version of this I'd already own one hell I'd take a button lock even I'm just no good at cross bar locks I always end up cutting myself great video man 👍
I had to send mine back unfortunately. The studs on the lock were so sharp they cut my fingers. I found the deployment hole to be too small for a good consistent flick. At least for me anyway. I had high hopes for this .😢.
Just got mine in the mail today funny enough. Got to say I'm a little disappointed. For the life of me I can't reliably thumb flick it open; so I'm stuck with the slow roll, reverse flick, or using the crossbar lock. The scalloping on the scales is very minimal. The pocket clip also binds up on my pants, even though it's almost identical to my pyrite which works fine. This knife does a 2 steps ahead 1 step back for me, there's a lot to like, but just has a few irks
Hey JB! Looks good. Grippy texture. Very useable blade. I like it. Have a great weekend! BTW, B.O.B. (Fieldcraft) made it here. Just wanted to let you know. Have a great weekend!
A great looking worker, thanks for sharing JB. Be safe.
Thanks for checking it out James

Something to think about
I don't know if I have ever seen a Ray Laconico design in the wild, probably but I don't know. Good good video Mr. JB
Maybe, maybe not Justin
I might break my no knife buying streak for this. Looks perfect to me.
Right on!! 👍👍

I really like it. I want to see CJRB do compression lock. It would sell like crazy.
Right on Greg!!

LOL...thanks brother!
Everybody happy! 😃
I know I am!!
Ray rocks!
Yes he does!!
Another cool one
Many thanks Kevin!
Got one a few days ago. Love the knife and design, but the Omega Springs on mine are too strong!!! Any idea where to get weaker ones?
Wow...no not really. I think people usually ask for stronger springs.
@@BigRedEDC I have many Axis, bar lock type knives. I think this is the hardest spring I've ever seen. Maybe it will loosen up a little with use.
Neat looking knife.
Does the job pretty well!
@@BigRedEDC and that is all that matters.👍🏻👍🏻🔪👊🏻🙏🏻
Really nice knife. Just never had liked the crossbar locking mechanism
Right on!
it's s'okay
Thanks for taking a look!
I came close to buying this one. I chose a Civivi over it. Did I make the right choice?🤔
If you like the Civivi, I would say you did
