I just watched the rest of the video. And I just want to hug you and commend you for doing this, making these videos and going on these trips to help yourself. May you have 1000 more fun and exciting trips like this!
Thank you so much! I hope you have an amazing first solo trip 👏 A notebook sounds perfect. I like to make a list for each park of all my top rides and foods to try.
You have really inspired me to book my solo trip. I’m almost in tears right now. Thank you so much for posting this video. Signed: Your new subscriber 🥰
I am 70 and am considering my first solo trip. I hate to fly so would be driving in from Texas, which is a little scary. My adult son usually goes with me to WDW every other year, but I think he has lost interest. Thank you for a great video!
Go! I went to Universal Studios by myself last year and it was one of my favorite vacations ever. I’m 63, and really utilized the single riders line over and over. Then I’d sit and people watch! It was lovely.
I have been thinking about a solo trip for a couple of years. I plan on getting one in either this fall or next spring depending on my health. I feel the same way about Disney as you do. It just makes me happy ❤️. I get so excited when I see the castle that I actually will cry. All that magic is very healing. Best wishes on your journey !!
Thankyou so much for wonderfully thoughtful tips! I'm going on a solo trip in September and I also have severe anxiety, so I'll be following your recommendations!
THANK YOU so much for posting this. I am going to a conference in Florida and have taken extra time off. Now I am getting nervous thinking about how going by myself will be depressing. I already suffer from depression so I don’t want anything to make it worse. Now I am beginning to think about safety as a single woman and not sure how to be safe. I feel better but still thinking of shortening my trip.
I had to laugh at the judged by teenagers comment. I'm pretty sure you were being judged. Lol. They're the worst. I loved your video, I just booked my FIRST solo Disney trip for July 4th week and I'm very anxious but also excited to do EVERYTHING I want without having to please others. Eating alone always gets to me even around home. My plan is to bring my little notebook I'm making for tips, trips, and schedules (I'm not a app girl) and go over what's next while eating. Thereby avoiding eye contact for the judgers.
thanks very helpful and so honest I appreciate it! did you felt secure on the uber? it gives me a little bit of anxiety the transportation that is outside disney and universal. Would love to know your opinion of uber and lyft and other transportation outside the "bubble".
I love uber and lyft. They feel safer than a regular cab to me now. I can see their picture and license plate number before they pick me up, I know how much the fare will be, and I can track the route we're taking through the app. In the last uber I took from WDW to universal, the driver had a minnie mouse wheel cover and she was delightful. There's a quick snippet of the ride at the beginning of this video. ruclips.net/video/9hkCpYNRhfY/видео.html Hope this helps!
uber is amazing! i use it quite often when im traveling, have even used it internationally and its been fantastic. so convenient and feels safer than any public transportation i’ve ever been on.
My first solo day at Epcot tomorrow! I’m driving from my parents house near Tampa Bay!! I hope everything goes well!! ❤️
Yay! I'd love to be there during the festival of the arts 🎨. Hope you have a great time!

I haven't spent much time outside of the Disney bubble, so I can't comment on the rest of Florida. Definitely do what you feel is right for you!
I just did a DC trip aline and am ready to go to Disney alone in December
Awesome! I want to do Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at some point. You'll have the best time! Enjoy all the single rider lines :)
U are great for taking the chance and traveling alone! Me too, I am doing that too❤ Have fun🎉!
It’s so awesome you’ve been on 3 solo trips. I’m going on my first solo I’m 10 days!!! Great tips. Thanks for sharing- mari
Fun! I went the same time last January and the weather was amazing (I'm no good in the heat). I'll be watching all your vlogs :)

I relate to being afraid of teenagers in public too 😂
😂😂😂
