Thank you Mr. Vaughn for your find words and excellent review on your Hyosung. Enjoy the ride and I am looking forward to our next project, if one ever comes about. Be safe!

That's a very appealing wind screen. How satisfied are you overall with your motorcycle?

I have been very happy with the 2016 GV250 Aquila EFI so far. I bought it “used” in October 2020 from a dealership that had five 2015’s and three 2016’s with zero miles. They were selling them for $2395 with NO WARRANTY retail price in the U.S. was normally $4,095. I’ve heard good and bad things about Hyosung but for that price decided to take the chance! I like V-Twins. Have had several Yamaha Stars, 650, 950, and 250 in that order. The Aquila and Yamaha Virago250 (changed name to V-Star in 2008?), are very similar. The star is 19 HP and weighs 326 lbs. The Aquila 28? HP and 388 lbs. but the Aquila beats the Virago with less weight per horses! I favor the Aquila also for its EFI vs. Virago’s old carburetor. I like the older retro style of the Aquila. The Aquila comes with a tachometer stock. The Aquila doesn’t have a helmet lock and I do miss that but ordering a handlebar end helmet lock. I’m getting low to mid 70’s range for mpg. I just did my second oil change at 1,000 miles so barely broken in. I followed the recommended 1/4 throttle break-in for the first 500 miles, then 1/2 throttle for the next 500. I’ll probably continue to baby it because half throttle (about 6,000 rpm) is enough to get me up to 55mph and that’s the speed limit around here (65-70 mph on freeways but I don’t use freeways on a motorcycle). Time will tell if breaking this bike in slowly keeps it out of the repair shop!

Paint the grey on your cover to same color red as Hyosung...make it look factory.

Paint over the Grey on the windscreen with red… Great idea! That would make it look stock! Thanks for the idea Brian! Sounds like a good indoor project for this winter when riding isn’t possible!
