Part 5: • Compton Cops: Baby Lan...
Part 1: • Compton Cops on Biggie...
--------
In this clip, Reggie Wright Jr. started off asking Bobby Ladd and Reggie Wright Sr. about being at the location of the war that started with an incident between the ATF and the Nutty Block Crips. Bobby explained that the first incident happened in 1995, and he jumped ahead to the aftermath of the two shootings. Ladd detailed arresting an ATF member who was the driver in one of the incidents, who ended up cooperating. The driver revealed a shooting that killed two ATF members and the girlfriend of a high-profile street figure. Ladd then added that the men went looking for Nutty Block members to retaliate, and they killed three innocent teens that they mistook for members. From there, a shooting broke out with Nutty Block members, and the ATF members escaped. Reggie Wright Jr. then spoke about investigating the scene where the teens died, and he remembers telling the father of one of the victims that they were committed to solving the case. Reggie added that the father still lived at the residence, and he stated that the man was still thankful for solving the case. From there, Ladd detailed how the case was solved, which you can hear more about above.

Cops tell better stories than gang members
Real talk they do. Because they don't have a horse in the race. They're just explaining what was going on with no bias of a hood or looking tough or soft. Just their jobs were involved in so much history.
@@larrymcroberts995 i disagree. A police department works similiar to a gang, the whole code is similiar, like Denzel would say, it takes a wolf to catch a wolf
They can just articulate themselves better but they aren't more honest than gang members. First hand, i know they come to court and lie on you. They beat me up for sleeping in my car, then in court they said i've attacked them with "punches and kicks", which was bogus.
Yea they ain’t on lean in these interviews lmaooo
Cause they're not under restrictions of the street code of silence or under threat of being implicated in the crimes they tell of like the gangsters are
@@qbconnect2883 they are. Cops don't snitch on each other just like gangsters. They lie together in court and make up fake stories. If a cop snitches on another cop, he loses his rep and gets stigmatized

So many innocent lives lost to this gangbanging culture! And exposes the obvious fallacies by certain 80’s gang members who now say killings were “up close and personal” in their day and innocent people weren’t targeted! I can guarantee every hood whether it was Crip, Piru, Blood or Chicano had this sort of stuff going on where innocent people from a rival hood were purposely targeted in many situations!
In more known cases such as lil fee from 60’s..young children and other family members were killed!

Salute to Reggie sr. For not giving up and finding the murderers 🙏our communities need more officers like him
When I grew up, we had a couple officers like that who were from the neighborhood. As wild as the streets were there was a level of respect between the police and the criminal element since those officers were known good dudes.
Criminals mainly victimized other criminals and only went so far. We didn’t have stupid crimes like harming the elderly, hurting innocent working people or babies. To keep it 100 if someone was known to be foul like that, they’d get disappeared or sacrificed (read between the lines) to the police as a peace offering and nobody spoke on it. Criminals just tried to make some money, stay low, not to get caught. It really wasn’t an us versus them (police) mentality because of the community aspect of it and pre-established relationships between those couple of officers and the hood.
Unfortunately, times changed, a lot.
