It does make sense why you like them. They're so charming and non-competitive. Probably some of the most relaxing games out there.

And in this case mistaking pokemon names for someone they're obviously not is a good way to piss off the fandom sorta like nonfans mistake anything fictional as naruto or any pokemon as pikachu.

Eevee goes "eboy" because it's actually saying "Evoli" which is Eevee's name in a few languages.
Evoli sounds like a type of pasta.

It's saying ebui, which is its japanese name, since its pronounced same way as eevee, there is no reason to dub it anew. Same goes for many pokemon, including Charizard, since it roars lizardon and it's not clear, it can be kept in dub as simple roaring

I still can’t believe the *insane* good fortune my brother had in finding this RUclips channel. The never-ending supply of actual quality content from none other than Patter? Golden. I remember my conversion to the Knatter channel like it was yesterday…
One of my younger brothers was supposed to be doing homework a few years back, but as I casually walked past his room, I saw him desperately trying not to laugh out loud. When I asked what the heck he was snickering at, he motioned me over to his laptop to watch the gem “RUclips in 1998.” My first thought was, “Oh, great, my last brain cell can’t take watching another cringey RUclipsr making unfun-”
Then the unexpected edits began, and we literally couldn't see the screen from laughing so hard. Seriously, my sides hurt from not being able to breathe. My brothers and I knew then that we had stumbled across something truly unique. Was it ridiculous? Well, uh, yeah-but in an actually clever way. That’s such a rarity these days!
So, yeah-I guess this is my personal "thank you" for this vast library of freaking comedic masterpieces. Who’d have thought that there were others out there with my family’s weird sense of humor? Thanks, Pett5er! I always get a hearty laugh out of these.
Underrated comment
I discovered him thanks to my older brother, he was just scrolling on RUclips and clicked on a video called "Sonic Dreams Games" the very first video we ever saw from Peter Knetter, and ever since we started watching his videos, I don't think my brother watches his videos anymore, and at first at didn't think much of his channel, but after a while I realized that this was one of my favorite channels, and ended up subscribing in fear of forgetting this channel, not that I wasn't going to anyway, Peter's videos are really the only videos I watch anymore l.
Peter's entirely right on why the Pokemon says "Eevoeui"
There's actually a scene that was filmed somewhat recently (actually I say that, but I don't even think Sun and Moon were a thing yet), I think it was in a movie, where we actually directly hear Pikachu's inner monologue, and it sounds absolutely nothing like when he says Pikachu, 'cause obviously the voice actresses are from different countries

Much like L and R sounds, B and V sounds are interchangeable in Japanese. Hence Eevee being pronounced like "eeboi", which sometimes sounds like "YEAH BOI!"

the pokeroms are exactly like you said, the same game just with a different pokemon and that installed program keeps track of the ones youve completed, at least in theory.
its shockingly stable on modern pc's which is to say it only crashes half the time and runs as intended otherwise
