Well .... What a very Pleasant surprise that was. I wasn't expecting much in seeing a full length sci-fi film on RUclips, being worthy of investing time in. What a breath of fresh air this was. The story, the acting in the style of using handheld cameras, much like the Blair witch project really worked here. I gave the sense of reality as if you were living it with the characters. I give it nine out of 10 . Bravo !

Growing up on a farm you learn to eat how and when you can. It works to put a can or food wrapped in foil on top of the tractor starter to warm up. You might have to use your pocket knife as a utinsel. If you happened to get a little dirt blown into your meal you just ate it. If a bug got in it you picked him out and went back to eating.

I had a house....my first house. It was from the 1910's and moved out in the middle of nowhere south Texas long before I got it. Anyways, it had a long, long hallway where I hung many pictures I'd purchased at cheap antique shops and estate sales of Great War soldiers un named. I used to wonder their fates. Did they make it through alive ? Intact ? Physically, mentally ? I didn't know. I, nor probably anyone for tens of years probably even remembered their names. I would talk to them now and then. Perhaps just a friendly acknowledgement...
It was many, many years later, that I met Eric Bogel. A musician who wrote Green Fields of France. And there I heard about young Willie McBride 😪..

Interesting! I love time travel! Maybe I can go back and make myself 30 years younger! LOL. Thank you for the movie!

I liked it, I really wanted to see what was on the GoPro though lol. I’m ex Coldstream Guards so it would have been great to have seen ‘when’ he came from, and the environment.
Good film, and a fellow Yorkshireman too (I’m from Middleton, Leeds originally).

Brilliant movie. Follow on from all the other comments, no fantastical effects.., just a good and interesting story. Although I suspect someone from 1918 would have a lot more difficulty with technology changes since his time.., in spite of his comment about having radios in his day. But really enjoyed watching it. Thank you.
