- We are the Air Force's special operations ground force, using airpower to solve ground problems anytime, anywhere. Since Sept. 11, 2001, Air Force Special Tactics has been involved in almost every major combat operation and enabled global humanitarian aid missions such as the Thai Cave Rescue of 2018. We are committed to our teammates, families, country and building leaders to solve some of the nation's greatest problems.
Was Hans Zimmer contracted to make the music for AFSOC?
75th Ranger Regiment really putting pressure on all the SO units' Public Affairs officers to take their jobs seriously
😂😂😂😂
Loll thats right.
Hot, shout out to all you operators doing the lords work
Didn’t know the lord was a special operator.. I must’ve read the wrong bible
@@americantruth9771 lol, once read this book and this former ranger compared Jesus to an Airborne Ranger
Every thinking person knows god is humanity’s evilest enemy
And by lord, you mean deep state/ corpo interests. Let’s not kid ourselves!! Great soldiers, seldom great cause.

As a Navy brat I pick on the "Chair Force" alot, but in all seriousness, the guys on Special Tactics are badass and I have the utmost respect for all of you. You guys are probably the least talked about yet one of the most important special warfare groups the US military has. o7
@Stargazzer: Are you serious? Being a Navy brat is your claim to fame, and the ability to pick on ANY branch of the Armed Forces, let alone the “Chair Force?” Unless you have something to add to your résumé,’ you have a lot of growing up to do. Come back when you’ve done something.
@@terrysaunders2026 Nah, actually being a volunteer fireman is my claim to fame. For the sake of being humble and trying to avoid "virtue signalling" as the kids say today, I wasn't going to mention that but.... *shrug* Why do you care anyway?
@@terrysaunders2026🤓
@@Stargazzer811 I actually don’t care. And volunteer firefighters serve their communities in a very noble way. My response to your comment was because it sounded like you were putting Navy Brat above active duty members serving in the Air Force.
I as well as my children were Air Force Brats. My mom and dad were both Air Force; dad retired one year before I joined.
@@terrysaunders2026 Well, I do appreciate the service your family has given to the US. I had an uncle who was an AF meteorologist at Homestead back when it was a major base.
My father was a Navy corpsman assigned to the Marines. I myself wanted to join up at one time but life took a different path and I joined the fire service instead.
We want more videos this is sick

Work with a lot of TACP and JTAC guy. Cool people to have around.

Amazing video. I hope to join these brave men one day as either a special reconnaissance airman or combat controller.

Very well made this video with just the right music in the background 👌💪🥇The world can NOT do without these Alpha people 👌🙏greetings from the Netherlands 🛡🦅🔱⚡🛡
Nice!
Thank you ALL that serve, and your family.♥️💯
That face armor attached to the helmet looks like pure misery. I'd rather take my chances with getting shot. I'm guessing it's a piece of gear nobody asked for but they were told to wear anyway.
It's probably a simunitions thing, like a heavy duty airsoft mask for force-on-force training. There's no way it's stopping a real bullet.
it was probably done just for the video to please higher ups. Most dudes just take their chances with sim rounds to the face.
Guarantee it's not just for sims. Busch helmets make a ballistic attachment like that.
@@tappcs Interesting
Or maybe they’re trying to maintain some opsec by wearing the masks. These exact dudes are doing work most will never hear about, living up to the name “quiet professionals”🤷🏽♂️
Awesome video! An intro on USAF SOF would be cool and on the recruiting side something on the quality of life for Air Force versus other services. Back in the day USAF had way better barracks and chow hall at Elmendorf than the 501st AIRBORNE did at Ft. Richardson and yet the Air Force guys got hardship pay because they were considered substandard for Air Force Personnel.
I heard those are perks of Air Force service.
@@mrsta8541 yes if I could do things over. After the Army I went into police work and there was a clear cut difference between the prior service Air Force MPs and the Army ones. My understanding is that they go to the same schools but for some reason the Army guys usually seemed to be more of a soup sandwich.
@@killbaal4149 Thank you for your service. My dad was Air Force, he said their bases & such were better; I thought he was just talking smack lol. I've heard from other veterans the same type comment about USAF "if I could do things over" etc.
No side plates on their plate carriers but they have face armor.
priorities you know
That’s the reason ST are the best looking😉
@64ig6kg0 : Who cares? They're STILL Air Force Awesome Possum , though , Bro!!
Nobody wears their side plates bro... if you know, you know
It's a mask for sim rounds, not face armor...
God bless
So beautiful.
Bro got the half life background music, how did you remove the vocals thought? Overall great video. Hope to see more of this.

Active duty airman looking for slot in special tactics support unit. I am polyglot, and any availability for linguist or intel analyst attach to your unit?. how's the process ?
Anyone know why they’re wearing the mandible face-guard throughout the assault?
This is sick 🤙
Will they be attached to the 75th Ranger Regiment?
17th Special Tactics Squadron supports the 75th Ranger Regiment.
@@mrsta8541 Directly.
OK
How do I sign up ?
Oh it’s the Air Force “Special”
I know SOST is part of special tactics but I also know SOST isn't open to civilians, but if I joined a program like HPSP or the MDSSP in the army, would that give me a pipeline into this? Or is my only option air force guard/reserve/active?
At last check you have to be active duty Air Force to get into Special Tactics.
@@Stargazzer811SOST works differently.
They're accepting civilians right now. You have to at least be a resident. Also there's a selection process, including psychological screening. You could pass selection and still not get selected.
@@slothassasin1055 Thank you! I want to serve in a medical capacity and SOST is the best opportunity (I'm still undergrad). Active duty is too long of a commitment for me, and reserves/guard are impossible during med school. HPSP is also not a good program from what I hear.
@@justindeekollu5812 Ah. Just focus on getting into medical school and graduating college for now
Bless the USA MILITARY
Why do they have face armor?
Soooo it's the infantry for the AF. Got it.
"Infantry for the AF" is closer to USAF Security Forces. But yes, AFSPECWAR train/execute small unit tactics.
Those are some sick helmet gears! Man proud to be n USA

Is this dagre
Yes
DAGRE is not a Special Tactics career field. DAGRE members belong to Special Operations Security Forces Squadrons and are different from Special Tactics Operators.
what in the actual name of the great "operator" are they fucking wearing...
-20 points for wearing the mandible during a training exercise
They forgot to mention that the Air Force boys have to get baby sat by the Green Beret teams they are assigned to every time they work together.
Is the SRT a security forces contract?
Fucking. America. Bro yes.
Would love to know if there is a point to everyone wearing mandibles in this vid or if you guys just thought that would be such a cool idea…
Hi Christian, this video was shot during actual training events and mandibles are required PPE for Force on Force training.
what r those masks someone fill me in
bahaha, looks like regular army infantry.
What's up with those masks? Does the Air Force not believe in cheek welds?
....😅😅🤣🤣🤣
But what's with the weird masks on their faces?
Not a single target was injured in the making of this video. Wearing that mask is ridiculous. You can barely put your cheek on the stock to see your reticle. Ridiculous. Invest in side plates.
Possibly a siminutions mask for the exercise.
Those mesh masks are made by Opscore and the like, they’re there to protect our face while using simunitions during force on force (as shown) we are required to wear them. So pipe down little one!
If you want to actually do real work and not just sit around acting like an operator, Google 724 STG.
