The mmff goal for 2023 was to reach 700 million…..but rewind alone surpassed their goal with an outstanding earnings of 815 million and still counting….mmff reached the 1 billion mark almost singlehandedly courtesy of rewind versus the other 9 entries with combine earnings of less than 300 million….and yet not a single award was given to rewind…..the billion mark from the 700 million original objective of the festival was effortlessly provided by rewind which by now cud have already reached the billion mark, without contribution from the other 9 entries…..i.e…..it’s only rewind that brought back moviegoers to cinemas, BAR NONE….DONGYAN, deserve a special citation and recognition aside from honoring them as box office King and Queen…..congrats DONGYAN….
