The most important thing is that he's a fan favorite. Not just our fanbase but nationally. There's not going to be any hit pieces on him. No stories about his mom or mono. He's respected already.

What people think about him is less important than what socks he decides to wear today. Dude needs to focus and learn. If he does his job, he won’t need to worry about people not liking him.

Travis will be rehabbing in an organization that knows what's up.

The most solid #3 in the game.

If memory services me correctly, I could’ve sworn he was the leading candidate in the Heisman watch in the beginning of the season. Follow that up after the injury he ended up being in 5th place. 💪🏽

Smartest pick the Jets have made in a very long time. And yes, I include 2022 and the 2000 draft in that span. Getting a guy who would possibly have been a 1st rounder in the 5th, with time to learn and develop behind a couple of real pros could turn Out to be something special... and if JT only winds up a solid #2, that's excellent payout from a 5th round. Plus, kid is humble, smart, and a winner. Great pick, Jets!

Jordan’s very slight though. At 6’1”, barely 200 lbs, he’ll have to toughen up. Jets destroyed Zach Wilson and Sam Darnold by playing them too soon. Hope Douglas and Saleh learned their lessons.

Jets will keep him in IR for the season so he can recover from his injury and learn from Rodgers. My only issue is the current coaching staff is basically playing on a yearly contract.

  • @AStewSr

This guy is Tyrod Taylor II.. the one thing he better learn and learn it quickly is to slide and pass first. The tape that I’ve seen of him he looks to run first and he won’t get away with that in the NFL everybody’s fast in the NFL and everybody hits hard in NFL point Robert Griffin III. It’s very easy all it takes is one hit to derail your entire career. we jet fans know that from the hit that Moe Lewis put on Drew Bledsoe that led to the rise of Tom Brady. I’m not a fan of this guy’s height and his tendency to run, but at least he has Tyrod Taylor to follow and Aaron Rodgers to learn from.

This Jets coaching staff just f*ed up an elite talent in Zach Wilson.

@@VMan29397 Wilson sucked because the Jets management are assholes. The guy didn't play that much at BYU and needed time to adjust and mature. LeFleur and Saleh threw Wilson under the bus immediately as soon as things weren't going smoothly. They didn't have Wilson's back for an instant. Wilson couldn't have a more piss poor organization to break in with. Wilson will prove in the end that he's worth a hundred LaFleur's and Saleh's. Unfortunately for us, that won't be with the Jets. He's a big time talent and the Jets putrid management let him slip thru their fingers - it's a shame. Anyway, if these jackoffs couldn't develop a truly excellent talent what chance do they have with a marginal one? We're not talking Shanahan here - we're talking big time schlock here Saleh/Hackett.

This was a great pick for the Jets... Jordan Travis is much like Jayden Daniels and he can easily slide in to replace Aaron Rogers after Rodgers becomes Vice President ( Ha Ha Ha ), Seriously, Travis will surprise many people and if Rodgers gets hurt again or enters politics there will be little or no drop off. As a Giants fan, I am envious.
