"[Died] while trying to climb out of a brothel window to escape a debt collector, who also happened to be his wife" I am using that story in my next D&D campaign.

Tucker Carlson has not been ‘deployed’ to Moscow, he’s been recalled. Brilliant episode.

Any chance they can recall the orange one as well? Seagal could use another buddy.

Chris missed a trick - he should have put "The Ruskies" on his final wheel to play Liberal Centerist Conspiracy Theories...

Returning to this after several years, forgot how much perspective it gives to me as a Yankee. Loads of material we will export during this epic election season.

This is, by a significant margin, my favourite Bugle line-up as it's closest to the original one ❤
Please Andy, given it's going to be (already is?) an absolutely crazy (political) year, try and get this line-up together as often as possible!!!!

      Yeah I agree.
*though only by a slim margin, imo

@@Neddoest to each their own, as it should be!
Alice is sadly not for me (which unfortunately means I have to skip a lot of episodes), I'm indifferent to both Nato (love and respect for his activism tho) and Hari (I prefer Josh out of 'The Americans') and find that episodes with Anuvab can be a bit samey and very hit or miss.
My favourite co-hosts are all Brits for some reason, with my favourites being Helen (wish she was on more often), Mark Steel and Nish in a tandem with preferably Chris (to ensure that Nish doesn't go too much down his well-trodden paths).
The first two episodes which featured Nish and Tom were amazing too, with the immortal "Woman trapped in window trying to retrieve poo after Tinder date" news 🤣😭

Maybe even get the bespectacled toucan back for another reunion episode, if he can be tempted back across the Atlantic for a day or two

@@stevegoodson9022 how could Johnny Showbizz not be tempted by the opportunity for both a Bugle AND Department reunion in one (if Andy invited Chris too) 😇?

imo Nish has a great laugh which is all well and good for one type of energy, but I don't find him nearly as funny or witty as the other two which is kind of annoying, eg: when there're so many moments the witty flow of ideas crashes into a wall after Nish loudly 'just says words' and forces emphasis on a lame joke. Doing that a few times is fine and good but it's just far too frequent for my taste. What happens is the game of 'wit energy' tennis stops when the ball leaves the room, the energy drops instead of elevates, and 'potential elevation' for that moment generated by the others is then lost and the sequence starts again from a lower point.
I'm just saying another comedian could be absolutely electric with Andy and Chris. Obviously John Oliver, but others also.
Edit: Nish is great, but for my taste there's potential for improvement of the group dynamic re: comedy gold.

If you can't laugh, you'll cry. Absolutely dreading the Trump-Biden match up, but subscribing in hopes that your comedy will help me make it through in one piece

I think part of the problem is the inverse correlation between X: His relative wit compared with Andy and Chris, and Y: His relative volume level and emphasis style.
Possibly his loud overt posturing is writing cheques his jokes can't cash, at the expense of the relative genius of Andy and Chris and the flow they produce.
I'm not sure "hate" is the right word, he's absolutely lovely as a person; for me it's more of a perfectionist gripe at the opportunity cost compared to a utopian triptych.
