The one time being short gives you an advantage is Halloween. I’m going as the protagonist from Hollow Knight and it’s always nice to get candy when people confuse you for a kid, especially when you can hide your face.

I'm kid at heart and cosplayer and often homemade costume, I'm so excited for everybody to see my Rachnera Arachnera cosplay it's gonna be so cool and I did so much work so I could get the bottom-half and legs and the top.
Oh, and also the strategist but often unintentionally because I get so much candy that I have to drop it off in another bag because my first bag was too full, but so in turn many people think I have no candy.
Also sometimes the too friendly if I get a chance to rant about my character.
Also sometimes unintentionally picky because I'm very indecisive.

The term "Trick or Treat" actually means "Give us a treat or we'll play a trick on you" which means that it's the trick or treaters that play the trick if they don't get given the treat

I definitely go for the scary one every year. My family and I go all out with our decorations every year and now we have a reputation to uphold. Also, it’s fun to see who gets creeped out by my costume XD
I’m definitely the closer cosplayer. I don’t really know how to actually make clothes and stuff for costume pieces so my mom usually takes me out to thrift stores lol. Tbh though, we’ve found some surprisingly good quality things in there, like the red jacket I need for my cosplay this year and will probably end up using next year bc of my next cosplay choice :D (which is my favorite MCYTer, Grian)
Just came back from trick or treating, and I'm surprised about how accurate these are!
I spotted a bunch of these types of trick or treaters, and it was hilarious to watch the video and relate these to the people I saw today!
I was super lucky and got almost double the candy I got last year! :)

Im 110% stratigest. I use a pillowcase so i can fit more candy and it looks like i have less than i actually do, i used to bring a normal basket as well, and this one time, when the Venom movie first came out, my costume was this venom head puppet. I doubled my candy haul that year. 90% of it was chocolate, too.
That's crazy I need to pick up on these strats.

I’m a mixture of cosplayer, Homemade, and scary. I make all of my cosplays/costumes by hand, they take a long time. The main reason they take so long is because I draw out the makeup design and the character design first, THEN I start sewing and what not. I use a lot of special fx that sometimes aren’t necessary, like one year I went as the Joker (Jared letos), and I did a lot of Bloody, gory fx because I just felt like it, and it was pretty fun, i enjoy it. I scare a couple kids and get a couple of pictures taken, it’s worth it. I’m going as the joker again this year but I’m going as the white knight joker, and my boyfriend is going as Batman, we’re going to be wearing a LOT of FX this year 😭
Would've cosplayed as Dipper this year if I got back into my Gravity Falls craze in like early September to have enough time to order everything and such, but I decided to just go with being Classic Mega Man instead as a result as it was my alternative choice if I didn't want to try keeping the head of my homemade FNF Whitty costume from an Overheaded explosion. (As in becoming to warm to even wear the bloody thing) Plus I got into a huge Mega Man craze after marathoning the classic series, the X series, and the Zero/ZX series during summer of this year so I figured why not be the Blue Bomber this year?

This is the fun part about Halloween, dressing up as whatever you want to. It’s not every day that I can dress up as an Outlaw or a soldier in public.
I must admit, I’m definitely the squad LMAO. We all cackle like a gang of hyenas at everything and make a bunch of chaos walking down the street. I’m being a Boston terrier!

As the homemade costume person, that is very true lol, I don’t even like candy much, I’m just so proud of my Springtrap mask
All it took was a bunny mask from dollar general, paint in the colors : yellow, green, black, and red from dollar general, puffy paint from Michaels AND BAM Springtrap mask

Not only do you get loads of candy, but you also get cake and presents to celebrate. Some candy passers just don’t care about it being your birthday, and others do actually care and give you extra candy. *But you’ll eventually knock out from all the walking and partying.*

there was someone who made an outfit all by their self and it was SO cool, it was probably one the best costume in school, like everyone was shocked their mind blown and jaw dropped, because it literally had NO head and it was a girl who made it. The costume was a 6 ft tall man who had no head and wore a suit, a hat, and glasses. It took a while for me to figure out how it worked and how the girl could see because it had literally no head.

Top 5 sus Halloween costumes I saw at school yesterday!
Number 1: SpongeBob inflatable costume
The SpongeBob inflatable costume was pretty sus and cool but the sussier thing about the SpongeBob inflatable costume is that it’s still inflatable.
Number 2: Patrick star inflatable costume
The Patrick star inflatable costume was MORE SUSSIER than the SpongeBob inflatable costume the funny part of
Patrick star inflatable costume was that he looked around and then saw that the line is going and he didn’t just stay there, he ran to the line (like an idiot).
Number 3: among us devil inflatable costume
This is the probably the sussiest one possible! When it got close to me, I was actually terrified 😮 after recess, the among us devil inflatable costume ran to the girls bathroom and everyone shouted: IMPOSTER IMPOSTER IMPOSTER!!!! That made me smile.
Number 4: fall guy inflatable costume
No we’re skipping this one.
Number 5: sussy banana costume (not inflatable)
Fr,there were so many banana costumes 2 were different, 1 was very sussy and the other one, 😐

Also this year I was a witch and I got extra sweets because I knew German
last year, I dressed up as a Christmas Cow, and managed to convince 3 children that it was Christmas instead of Halloween.

One of my best costumes was when my whole Family was Ghost busters, My dad LOVED Ghostbusters so he,My two brothers and i were the ghost busters, my little sister was slimer "she was a baby" and my mom was staypuft. My dad was SO HAPPY TOO!

I was the homemade (usually am) and for all the little nightmares fans, I was mono and it came out pretty well
4:57 that was my costume this year it was a partypooper I made the mask from card stock and used a coat and blue jeans
I think it was last year that me my 2 brothers and 4 of my friends went as a whole swat team for halloween we got so many compliments and we got a lot more candy than anyone else because the people giving it out just gave us the whole bowl of candy to get us to leave faster

I wore an inflatable, green dinosaur costume and it was the first time I ever walked in one and it was so weird. 😭 Also the mesh that I look through kept rubbing on my face and hair kind of, so my hair kept getting my face, making it hard to see, when it was already so hard to see in the first place. 😭
I had a bit of a disappointing halloween this year. I had this really awesome inflatable axolotl costume but I had to go home and take it off bc the costume became a safety hazard due to the weather conditions and I ended up looking like the one who didn't try this year and i'm still really sad about it bc I loved the costume and was really looking forward to wearing the axolotl costume for months and I wasn't able to wear it, and now I gotta wait an entire year to try to wear the costume again. >:(

Anyone wanting as much candy as possible combine the 3 ones that already do this (speed runner strategies and begger) Always drop of candy at your home don’t empty it is sadder if their is little. Always complement their home or something this can go a long way.

#4 is literally meeeee😭 I use Halloween as an excuse to cosplay in public🗿 I went as miku at school cuz there wut an event and kanao at a Halloween party cuz I already had the cosplay, there were two tanjiro in my group alone, they claimed to be super demon slayer fanatics like they were constantly talking about the show, I asked them if they knew who kanao was cause I was dressed as her, and they said “ Kana? Idk what ur talking about, sorry” like bruh💀 sorry it’s long😞
