@@shroomer3867 As a 3D artist, AI isn't replacing 3D artists, it's not close to doing so at all. It can make simple models and textures but it can't do anything complex like a car. It could be used to help create a blockout mesh to use as a reference, but it can't finish the concept art. That being said, it's able to generate decent concept art images. I find myself using AI generated images as references.

Wasabi showed a human-made one in the video, it was made in 10 minutes by someone who wasn’t an artist even that had soul, it was a cute and funny emote. It fit in nicely with the rest of Twitch’s emotes, this stands out and looks awful.

I personally do care if something is ai generated, I've spent 5 years of my life learning to become a graphic designer and now it's pretty much impossible for me to bet a job because ai is cheaper, there is absolutely no reason to automate art, it's not something that humans need, it's not a dangerous job, the only reason companies are using ai for this is because they are greedy, someone could have earned a meal on this

I love photobashing, it is as much of an art as it is a science and I gottta say anyone who takes their bash seriously, will go the distance to make sure the composition is interesting, the colors are accurate, the shadows and lighting all go in the same direction, seams and textures get patched, proportions get resized - the whole nine yards. You need as much old school photoshop photo editing skills as you do well-composed photos. This Ai crap is not it.
For the record, twitch is owned by a trillion dollar company, and you know twitch's history. We(including me) should not be surprised that the company don't do stuff for the sake of content or creativity. What they call Ai always sucks, regardless if it actually can make something good. Remember that big companies dont care about you, ethics or meaning, just whatever makes the be able to make money and the most money.

I think there’s a thing called “poisoned art” where you do smth to ur art and if someone steals it and tries to make ai generate a image of it to make it seem like that they’ve made it the ai will get confused and mess up the generation (my explanation is pretty bad but there’s videos that properly explain it)
