yup she was a Disney actress and was on 2 disney shows. many of her songs and her album SOUR are rumored to be about her costar Joshua Bassett, who was in the same show as her. Joshua allegedly was in a relationship with Olivia and left her for another Disney actress, Sabrina Carpenter. All 3 of them have songs about the situation
Thank you for reacting to Olivia! You should react to more of Sour 💜It’s her debut album from 2021 which she released at 18 (written at 17) y.o. If you don’t have time for the whole thing you can at least react to “good 4 u” if you want more of the pop rock vibe OR “enough for you” that’s laidback - just her & her guitar - but emotional.
And yes she was an actress. She debuted at 12 y.o. as a lead in an American Girl (the doll brand) movie. She then booked Disney Channel’s “Bizaardvark” at 13 & led that show (with her still real-life best friend Madison Hu) for 3 seasons. And THEN booked lead again for Disney+’s HSMTMTS at 16 y.o. It’s a musical show (obviously) and the director encouraged her to write a song for her character (All I Want) that kinda went viral - its success got her an EP deal.
“Driver’s License” was her DEBUT SINGLE and when that was released it BLEW UP in the middle of the pandemic. So her “EP deal” turned into a full-length album when they realized that a lot more people would be tuning in. “Sour” (the album) was released 17 months after Driver’s License and Olivia won 3 Grammys that year.

I usually have a stong aversion to swearing in songs, especially the use of FUCK, but Miss Rodrigo uses the word so perfectly in this, and Vampire, that one can only applaud it 👍😎
In comparison, IMO(!), Lisa using it in her concert performances of "Money" is an example where the M/Vs' "hell" is a MUCH better fit for flow and rhyme. Same in BP's "Tally" where "... do it like the fuck boys do" would be better as "... do it like the JAV girls do" - it would really hit home for the Japanese version of the song.
If you haven't checked it out, Ren's "Hi, Ren" has, argueably, THE best use of invective I've heard in decades.
FWIW, born and raised in an environment where "fuck" was used literally every 3 or 4th word, with many other terms, etc, which is why I have a rather broad vocabulary now, and appreciate it when it's well done.
