Homemade drum mower

This is my drum mower. It was quite difficult to built it, because this is homemade tractor and it wasn’t built for this project. The tractor was quite old, too. I had to repair it at first and only then could I built this out of it. Work wit this mower is much faster, easier and better like with schythe.

Zdravim vas z coho mate vyrobene nože ?A nejaky detail uchytenia aj toho napinania dakujem.

Dobrý deň, nože som vyrobil zo starej strojovej píly - z jednej strany som zbrúsil zuby a z druhej som ho nabrúsil naostro. Na bubon som ich uchytil tak, že do bubna som navŕtal dieru a narezal závit, potom som nôž zašróboval, ale nedotiahol a zvrchu som dal kontramatku. Ako som kosačku používal, bubon sa začal v mieste uchytenia nožov ohýbať, tak som ho v najviac namáhaných miestach vystužil hrubším plechom s rozmermi cca.10x10cm. Nože sa vystieraju odstredivou silou. Remeň sa napína tak, ze vysúvam celý bubon a šponujem ho závitovou tyčou.

The sheet metal circle has a diameter of 70 cm and the knives are pushed out 5 cm. So the mowing drum has 80cm.
