I have several Beckers, they make very cool blades. But they always feel like I'm holding a concrete block, the handle and weight just feels off for my hands so I never use them. The comparable Esees just feel more ergonomic and agile for me so they're the ones that get the use. Personal preference, I know that some of my buddies are the opposite and go with the Beckers.
I'm the same way. I generally replace the handles of my beckers, which helps but I also prefer Esee. 👍
I like both brands! I like Ethan’s personality more than the ESEE guys and the Beckers don’t have the odd obsession with choils even on small knives. With that said I have a handful of each brand and enjoy all of them!

Hmm...now I'm curious about Becker's 1095 in cold weather...🤔🤔🤔
It should be fine with normal use, but I have experienced some chipping. . .
I’ve had good luck with mine but I haven’t hit rocks or metal hidden in wood and I haven’t been in extreme cold with mine.
