You know you are watching a great video when you think you have been watching for 5 minutes or so when actually you only have five minutes or so left in the video. Great content!!
Your home town looks awesome STL, "The Keg" was a nice ending to this video. I hope to visit Canada and Thailand. Thanks for the site seeing idea's, cheers from Perth Australia 😊
Great video, Vanouver looks great with plenty to do, not so good on the parking though. The burger and ipa looked good, I will put keg but I always watch your videos to the end some of the best on you tube 😎👍
Keg! I'm originally a Thailand sub but really enjoying your Vancouver videos. A combination of your video style, nostalgic local knowledge and appreciation of your Thailand videos make the Vancouver experience very desirable. Also, with a base in CA (and now also in Cebu, Philippines, having switched from Thailand) I look forward to taking my converted van to Vancouver sometime over next year or two. Thanks.
Really enjoying your Vancouver videos. I have some good friends that moved there from Australia. I will get there one day. Thanks for sharing your home town.
Thailand sub here, watching from Jomtien, drinking my Aeropress coffee (thanks STL for the tip) while watching this Vid. I do love it here, but, I too miss the natural beauty of my hometown on the south coast of Australia. Many, many moons ago, my best friend and I were to spend a year in Canada after we finished school. She went but I chickened out (at 16, the World seemed like a much bigger and scarier place to me). I really enjoyed your video, thank you for showing us around your hometown. Enjoy the rest of your trip. Staying tuned from Thailand!
The motorhome van is something I’m looking into buying for our 3 month stays when we go back to the US yearly, Vancouver sure is a pretty area, I was there only one time and that was just to catch an Alaskan cruise……great video STL
Keg I’m an avid Thailand viewer but just got back from a trip to Vancouver and Calgary, I really loved it in Canada 🇨🇦 so am enjoying these vlogs as well as your usual Thailand stuff 😃
That was a nice Keg -- haven't seen that one before. Love a Russell Brewing Cream Ale every bit as much as the craft IPAs I usually go for. Nice work show-casing our hometown! Cheers!...from North Vancouver
What a fantastic amount of food outlets there should be an obesity problem there but you don't see it. The burger at the Keg was amazing. Really is a good way to get around in the van.. so comfy and convenient. Glad I went there when prices were reasonable. Bushyboy Oz.
Keg. But I watched the first half yesterday ;-) I love to see the other side of Vancouver, all I saw so far are lots of Fentanyl victims, which is so sad- for them, their families and the neighbourhoods they frequent. Not exclusive to Vancouver of course, it's everywhere in Canada and the US- and moving over to Europe too now. We live in strange times.
555 and I love that you're one of the very few of my majority Thailand viewers that watched my Vancouver series, so kop kun kop maak, appreciated! Sadly my 'home' series is the lowest viewed of all my vids but mai pen rai, I enjoyed the visit, cheers!
@SideTripLife Perhaps people were confused? I absolutely loved it, it's a part of the world I still haven't visited so it was just as much escapism for me. It was also well made and well paced. Maybe it's a slow burn but I'm sure it'll bring you new viewers over time.
Wow, everything so expensive out there that’s crazy. Where do people get their money? I worked by the hour!! $90 to go up on the gondola that’s crazy !!! Price gouging at its best!!!
credit cards, and not knowing that there are cheaper places in the world. Most people don't travel so they don't care when you tell them that $20 banh mi would be five cents in SEA
great video! Was hoping to see your dad in the video, an introduction. As much as I love Vancouver, I far prefer Penticton, much quitter and sensible. Wife and I just got our Thai DTV Visa from teh Vancouver consulate, hoping to sell our home in Penticton next spring and make Thailand our new home.Hua Hin of course, we rented a condo at the Marvest Condo building for 6 months
Vancouver is one of the best cities on Earth, if you can afford it. Haven't been to The Keg myself in about 15 years. Most of my friends are pescetarians, and The Keg's seafood is pretty mid and pretty pricey.
Another great video, you should've hiked The Grind, though. Actually, this video inspired me to do it before the season ends. It's been 10 years since I've last done it.😅 End the day eith a trip to the keg. That burger looked fabulous.
Hey STL more nice content of the PNW. Do you mind sharing what kind of electric vehicle you're interested in buying in Thailand? Looked sharp and reasonable price, curious about the make and model. It must be Chinese, right?
I’m from the Seattle area and haven’t been to Vancouver in years. Nice to see a Keg! Someday can you consider doing a video on having car insurance in Thailand. Do we need an international driver’s license? Your quick glimpse of the Thai electric car has me curious. Glad you are visiting your parents.
I always love to watch your videos. This time, RUclips did totally spoil it for me as it interrupted it every 2 min with playing ads. 36 min, interrupted every 2 min, that is torture.
Great thing about parking in Thailand, it’s normally free. Go to a UK beach and it’s £10-£25 to park for the day. Everywhere you go they try to extract every penny they can 🤬 💙🇹🇭
FIAT 126 vas made in comunist POLAND in 70-is and 80 is.. Was only hard top.... this man make it cabrio 👌, 2 cylinder... 650 ccm we call him a bug in Comunist EU
Bet you were glad you were in Vancouver when typhoon Yagi tore through the Phillipines, Thailand, Vietnam and other areas. I could`nt live in any urban location now, give me open rural views every day of the week, which I fortunately have. Too many people, I would feel closed in.
Consider soaking oats over night in a closed bowel. I also add chia seeds, raisins and dried cranberries. No mess . If you want hot ,use the micro.just back from gas town
Keg too high costs of living and (for me) too many people to enjoy the wonderful nature and Vancouver city. Are the salaries over there are so high? See you again in Thailand!
Hey my friend I have a question for you. I arrive in BKK on the 8th after midnight which means the rail link is closed. Also I will have to book a hotel for the 7th because I want to be able to go straight there put my bags away and get some sleep. Obviously it sucks paying for a full day hotel to just get it for a few hours. Do you know of any really budget places that have 24/7 reception that I can spend day 1 in? Also what’s the cheapest way to get into BKK since the rail link closes at midnight? I’m assuming Bolt? Appreciate your input
Would love to see Vancouver, and more of Canada, only been to the Rockies 20 years ago. Wanted to say another reason love your vids is no horrible techno noise or whatever the younger you tubers use as ‘music’ guarantees immediate switch off! Why do they do it? It’s awful!
Cad$ will remain weak until we elect some politicians who understand basic economics (and diplomatic tact wouldn't hurt either). As Kevin O'Leary has said: "Canada is the richest country, run by complete idiots" Cheers!...from North Vancouver
Really wish your videos went back to being Thailand bound. Always love your videos mate but Canada is one of the last places I’d ever want to go if ever. Meth capital of the world. Do you know when you will go back to Thailand? Are you planning to go back back?

Keg! Nice to see your hometown but will be happy to be watching the S.E.A stuff again. Cheers from Albany a bit South of Perth Western Australia.
Luv a Keg and thanks for the vid it was well worth watching to the end. I also find the use of the maps are excellent. Thanks again!
Keg, another fab video as always

Forget Thailand!
Now I want to sell everything and move to Canada!
Well, looking at the crazy prices... maybe not...
if you wanna pay more than $3000 month rent for a 3 bedroom or buy a house for more than $1 million
And only in high summer
@@alblack9869 Canadians who have money still have more reasons to move to Thailand
@@Spirit_Bear21 bedrooms are going for basically 3000 in Vancouver.
Good work STL! Looks like you had an opening for a señorita with your margarita🤘

KEG. Beautiful City. Amazing anyone can afford to live there.
Keg, keg, keg!
KEG - Been watching and enjoying all the Thailand content, but fun to see you in our hometown doing these vids.

Keg :) ... always to the end! A great looking place to explore.
Thanks for sharing your hometown area. Also appreciae you including maps so we see clearly where you are exploring. cheers!
What a beautiful city.
Wooohooo new video how exciting. Greetings from Australia mate. 👍🏻
Keg
Nice video once again
KEG: Nice vid. Having been to Vancouver a few times, your video brought back some memories.
Keg :-) Great video of Vancouver. But prefer to watch your videos of Thailand though. Maybe see you over there sometimes ;-)

Keg. I live in Hua Hin. Enjoying your Vancouver vids. But enjoy your Thailand vids more.
Keg! I found your Vancouver videos interesting. Amazing to see so many asians there.
Loved the last video - Vancouver is so beautiful but such a shame what illicit drugs has done to it - RIP gaslight district. Thanks for sharing
"A van, down by the river!" 😂😂😂
Keg 😊 wont miss a minute
Keg! Loved this vid, thanks!
Keg 🎉 I’ve been enjoying your videos since I found you earlier this year. I really appreciate how you include prices and locations with maps 🙌😎
Keg! PNW is nice but I miss Thailand! ❤ From Olympia, WA
Have a great time back there in Canada...
0:25 It's amazing to see palm trees like this in Canada, definitely the best Canada in the land!
KEG … love the Thailand content but enjoying seeing your home town too. Just got back from Koh Samui & Bangkok and already missing it.
That was a fun trip to BC! KEG
Good old Van....and my old stomping ground for me as well.
Keg ! We can see why you live in Thailand, the cost in BC is outrageous. Beer, burgers, camping and accommodation 💰💸 Beautiful but unaffordable.
❤ Nostalgia ❤ Thanks STL ! ;-)
Wow, everything so expensive out there that’s crazy. Where do people get their money?

Always sunny in Vancouver, right? haha nice Monty Python reference

Prices insane compared to Thailand. However nice to see another part of the world I have not visited 👍
The car Is a FIAT 126 Cabrio never seen in Italy too
Foot pedal flush for toilets should be used more around the world.
keg when do the leaves start changing colour in Vancouver?
Fiat 126. Did not recall them making an open top version. Think it was the 1970s replacement to the original 500.
Haams the beer refreshing bear reference.
'Keg'! Cheers!

oh, i've never been to Vancouver before. what month is it in Vancouver when you're showing people on beach?
The way I know you're a native of the North Shore is because you have taken us to Lynn Canyon and not the Capilano suspension bridge.
Part way through your latest vid: have you been kayaking from the excellent base at Deep Cove?
Would love to see Vancouver, and more of Canada, only been to the Rockies 20 years ago. Wanted to say another reason love your vids is no horrible techno noise or whatever the younger you tubers use as ‘music’ guarantees immediate switch off! Why do they do it? It’s awful!

You forgot 12% taxes + 20% mandatory tip (added over the taxes). Your 21$ burger becomes 28.22$.
Keg
Keg, come on out to the Wack lol
what does 'downtown' actually mean? we don't use that in australia but i've heard it here and on yank shows.
The pool looks as big as the $29. Pool in BKK
KEG
What no nickel back in Canada?😊
With the bad exchange rate right now you might want to stay in Canada 😊

is it rude to ask what thai visa your on?
The natives are messy in your town
Even the nicest western city does not have the ‘Thailand’ vibe sorry
Sell me your Corolla in Thailand
I think it’s a Honda
Can't stand Trudeau so Canada is off limits.
