A big hello to the Davis family from Beryl's home town of Plymouth UK! Beryl's sister Beatrice was my grandmother! I have a lovely postcard from Beryl to Queenie, which I keep safe.I spoke to Lisa a few years ago via e-mail and just wanted to send our love to you all over seas. I'm 33 and a dancer and continue to be inspired by Beryl - what a wonderful lady Xxx

Interesting for me seeing this as I know Beryl Davis from the 78 rpm records she made in the UK in the late 1930's, and they are remarkable.
I am assuming this is the same Beryl Davis!

Hi, Yes it is the same Beryl and what a nice person she was I had a memorable interview with her when she was telling me about the days she sang with the Glenn Miller band.
      Kind Regards John.

TOPCAMERAMAN She was amazing, I was shocked to discover those wonderful UK recordings she made in late 30's were done when she was still a teenager, so mature and natural at such a young age.
