I own both from new , and keep them on their respective bracelets , to be honest they are that bloody good looking I very rarely actually wear them for fear of damage, and when I do i cant decide which looks best, but maybe black dial by the narrowest fraction. I think Seiko underestimated what they had here, because IMO its EASILY as stylish as say a Breitling Nav but in no way a homage or copy, just saying.
Great presentation- nice to hear a Geordie too👍. Appreciated seeing the 413 - I am waiting for a 411 to arrive and already fancy the 413 as an addition. I’m going to go broke!
I bought a 413 "Panda" version new almost 10 years ago. Only wore it a few times. Been sent to Seiko for maintenance about a year ago from sitting in storage. I am pleasantly surprised that these are fetching $600-$1200 USD in excellent used conditoon to almost new condition currently and are accelerating still in values. I paid approx $230 back then, new.
I've owned a 411 Flightmaster for 19yrs from new , needs a new battery and seal now but for the money there's nothing comes close to this most excellent timepiece. It's still sporting the original strap as the subtle bling appealed back then and has never lost its appeal. The watch bezel has become a little tight over the last couple of decades but sure this must be an easy fix. What would I buy to replace it ? Another 411 obviously , that's how well made these watches are.
Nice review. I have the SNA413 on its original bracelet and it's like a gem, it's attractive and a joy to wear. In the beginning, I didn't like the SNA411 so much but the more reviews I watched, the more the watch started growing on me until I finally purchased one. So, I think there is a good reason for all the hype because the watch does check the boxes.
I love my SNA411 had it a couple of years and I have about 70 watches and I wear this one a good bit. I have Rolex and everything in between and enjoy my Seikos the most. They are excellent watches that look nice.
i wonder if seiko do replacement dials and bezels for the 413? ....The blue one is fetching 400 uk beans on eBay all day long ..stick an orange strap on it ..looks stunning. Thanks for the video. I've just bought one ...buying a yellow rubber strap to make it an eye turner. When do Seiko stop making them ? ..when does it get relegated to the museum?
I've got my 411 on my wrist right now; on a thick NATO. You have to take off the spring bars, position the NATO, and then force the spring bars back onto the watch. You can't just change straps in 10 seconds on these; so make sure your love the strap you put on.
My uncle raced cars and motorbikes and I remember his brand new Kawasaki Z1-R and a aftermarket turbo kit. It was nuts. Also, I've never been a fan of the blue and white flighty! Black makes it look toolish...
@@1malikalik because the stock aluminium insert scratches easily. I am looking for a slide rule ceramic or sapphire insert to replace it (unfortunately it seems they don't exist) so I don't think it defeats the purpose - it's not like I want to swap it out for a GMT bezel.
@@1malikalik people do the same thing all the time for divers and GMTs, but I agree that if the replacement doesn't functionally compliment the watch, it's counterproductive. Like a 24hr GMT bezel on a non GMT watch.
If i had the spare cash would say yes but thats going towards a Zelos and already have this one. But you will sell that straight away i would say. People want it :)

There are actually 6 different versions of this watch. SNA719, SNA721 and SNA414

I have both. Great watches. Can be in the room with all the other greats and hold their own.

just bought a sna413 i love the panda coloursheme
I’m looking for the SNA413
The Flighty reminds me of my Breitling navitimer
In ur perspective which one u prefer to use daily?
Got the 411, and im curious where do you buy those bracelets?
The straps i have them on in the video are from watch WatchGecko. The bracelets are original to the watches.
I put a Breitling style bracelet on mine. Cost almost as much as the watch😃😃
I seem to be buying homages to watches I owned. Forty years ago!
there are more Europe only releases that are all white and blue and grey. the all white is the rarest imo
I have a brown strap on mine and used a 22 mm strap.
Please give me the SNA411!!! lol im thinking of buying one pretty soon
Haha, sorry to say but this is a keeper in my collection ;)
Where can I found 411??
Ithe bezel moddable? I would love this watch if it had a ceramic/sapphire slide rule insert
Why would you want to mod the bezel? It defeats the purpose. Why would you mod it anyway?
