Hi mate look forward to your new start in a dedicated space for your passion have you had a update on the hermit all in one yet mine will be here in just over a week I have just ordered the ziss co2 generator to thanks for that video
Your tanks beat the hell out of MD Fish tanks. I like his channel, but it's about quality not Qty for me. Class and style.
It was about time you get a real aquascaping studio/fishroom. Congrats
You nearly gave me heart failure then .
Fr, i love this channel
Same here
Clickbait ftw
It always leaves a bitter taste in my mouth when a content creator I particularly enjoy feel like they need to resort to clickbaits.
@@AqueleSimao jap . RUclips sucks.
I have been drooling over that gorgeous shelving unit for a long time now-I’ll miss it. Good luck in whatever new space you get!❤
Been a subscriber since the pandemic. Your channel and MD fishtank are my escape during that time when everything's weird around us. Wishing you the best in the coming months! 🎉
This one room has created so many memories for me. Cheers and good luck to you! I'm excited to see what's upcoming!
Love your little reef tank.
When it comes to your missing polyps, you could look at the tank at night and see if any nudibranchs, flat worms, or little critters that are preying on the coral. It could also just be the coral, some softies will just melt away maybe due to bacterial or some other pathologic infection
There's also an urchin.. sometimes they do eat corals depending on urchin species.
@MJAquascaping, if you do move is it possible to make a video of you breaking down your aquariums and all that goes into moving them and setting them up in a new apartment?
That would be perfect! I’m actually moving within the next year so any tips moving tanks will be helpful!
@@junewalker595
Hopefully he’ll do it.
Be safe on the move.
Great idea!
Great idea!
I would love this! MJ -- even if you think you don't know what you are doing or it doesn't go perfectly smooth, it would still be very informative! It could help us know what things to look out for, and it might be a nice moment of reflection for yourself to think about what you might do differently next time.
Whoaaaa! That title scared me 😂 well done I'm so happy for you. I can't wait for more videos 🎉
I hope you make a video on the process of tearing down and moving everything . Congrats on the new place !
I can't imagine the headache of moving that many tanks! Happy for you and for the next step on your journey!
Its sad that a bunch of these beautiful aquascapes will have to been taken down but I'm excited to see all the aquascapes you will be making in the future! good luck with the house hunting and good luck with the move!
Will be great to experience all the changes and new builds with you! Your aquasapes are always so artistic, so creative. I really enjoy your presentations. It seems, to me, so many aquascapes on other channels are repetitive.
Celestichthys erythromicron for the bamboo tank. They come from Lake Inle which is situated in a karstic zone it contains neutral to slightly alkaline water with the pH value varying between 7.5 - 8.0.
My favourite is the sulawesi shrimp tank, bookshelf tank and the triangular tank beside the workspace...
All the best with the shifting...take ur time to move all the tanks carefully...
I was sad for a split second! I just found your channel and subscribed within the last week. Glad to hear I get to learn from you even more! Keep up the great work!
Very happy for you,you are an amazing aquascaping artist who truly understands what scaping is supposed to be...and deserve all good things. Cant wait to see what the new space brings to the channel.
Looking forward to the new room! Everything looks fantastic. Thank you for your videos!
Love the bookshelf tank. Planning one for on my desk in my office. Amazing work. Prayers all goes well with your move.
Congrats! Would love to see a video on how to manage the tanks relocation, the logistics of the fish, hardscape and if this eventually means you will need to rebuild them all.
Hope all goes well with the move. Must be a challenge to keep everything alive during the move. Good luck!
Congrats, you deserve the upgrade. You have inspired me to make a similar channel and hope to be in your shoes soon!
Good luck!!🍀 Will miss the evolution of this cool room set up! Cheers!
Good luck on your expansion! My tanks are also all in my living room 😅 im in the process of figuring out a better solution as well. Looking forward to seeing the new and improved studio space
Good luck guys. Can't wait to see the aquascape you make when you have your own fish room. It's always exciting to get into a new place and set to work right away. Much love from here in Michigan. The kids, guinea pig, our our big tank full of platy fish say thank you for all the videos.
Looking forward to the upcoming build videos, especially the crypt’s aquarium. Please also share the struggles with plant melt. I’m very interested in learning more about the struggles with a crypt setup as I’m considering some for my next scape. Good luck with the apartment search, especially if you’re staying in the Amsterdam area🤞
Hello! Thank you for the room tour, I've been waiting for it. All aquariums are beautiful, but my personal choice is the riparium. We're looking forward to seeing you in a new studio.
I love that green machine tank! Good luck in your new home! Can’t wait to see what you do
I absolutely love the Africa-themed Oase Scaperline 90 🤩 the crypts-tank seems also amazing! Fingers crossed for the new appartement🍀
Niesamowite widoki w każdym zbiorniku. 😊😊👍👍💪💪
I just about had an aneurysm, Mark.
Thanks for all you do. Love your attention to details.
Hope all goes well for your move sir.
Love your channel. Have tought me so much about this hobbie. Just did a recent start up with all your pointers and help, it went flawlessly. No algy at all.
All the best!
legendary, congrats man been following your channel for quite a while and the content you put out always motivates me with my aquariums.
Prachtige tour!
Grats on finding a new home! You did well to maximize what you had for so long. Must be super exciting to think up ideas for the new space!
Great video MJ! The difference between paludarium and riparium is in how the terrestrial area functions. If you have plants and maybe some wood emerging from the water and not much more you got yourself a riparium. To make a paludarium you need to include enough landmass to possibly sustain some kind of animal.
I am so excited for what’s to come 🥳 more room for more projects 🤙🏼 it’d be cool if you showed the moving process! I’m also gonna move soon & am dreading taking down my tanks
Oh wow! The river tank is exactly what I was thinking it would be great to see you do with higher flow . I want to do the same with Hillstream loaches . Can’t wait for that !
I have been avoiding watching this video foe 24hrs or so scared to heard the bad news until I hear the GREAT NEWS! My best wishes on your new endeavor and will be waiting on how everything evolve!
❤🧡💛💚💙💜 Love them all! Glad you might find a place with more room!
Hi MJ, excellent news, wish the best for you on your next location. Cheers.
I hope the plan comes together, bets of luck. Thanks for the tour
Looking forward to seeing your new space. Thank you for sharing.
I've got harlequin rasboras in very hard water in my 40 breeder. They are very happy. Worth a shot!
Beautiful! I’m very stoked about the all crypt tank- thinking of doing that soon in a pea puffer tank. Good luck with your move!
Congrats on the new developments man. Thats amazing and well deserved, cant wait to see the new place and all the incredible videos to follow. Insanely Excited for all the new stockings to come and each incredible scape you'll build for em
Congrats on the move. Loving all the tanks you have and I'm looking forward to seeing new scapes in the new space.
if you want to try and help the butterfly cichlid babies. you could turn the filter of when feeding. so you can feed the other side of the tank from where the babies are. also im not sure. but there's a good chance your corals are attacking each other.
You should create a video on how you move all those tanks to your new place.
Nice tour, love the variety you have and also nice to see some tanks I haven’t seen before. The riparian tank is cool, the crypt tank will be cool, in fact they all hold interest.
I think surprisingly my favourite is the bamboo Sulawesi scape. I don’t normally like that style of scaping, however the planting looks really natural which works really well with the hardscape and I love those shrimp.
Hope you find a new place soon and ill look forward to your dedicated studio space 😎
Cheerio
I've always loved MD fish tanks ( I like your reference to them) but you have a certain kind of way of coming down a level and really taking your viewers with you like no one else does . CONGRATULATIONS a separate space for the aquascaping hobby will be so good for you . Enjoy the process
Will be sad to not be in your living room. We are so used to your cozy homely room
Good luck with your move and new studio. Can’t wait to see what happens in the future x
Ember tetra can adapt well to hard water for the rare shrimp tank. They would eat unwary juvenile shrimp though.
Great news! Hope everything works out for you.
Good luck and all the best you gave me so much confidence following many of yours suggestions about freshwater in the last year and half and was successful and I learned a lot on the way as well, cheers from UK
Great setups in all your tanks! Hope you find the right space in the future :)
Definitely love the fern and rocky tank. That would make my day to eventually have a tank with all those plants in and out of the water.
try and make some videos about having to break down and move the tanks! that would be a good watch. i know ill be going through it later this year when we move. Keep up the amazing work brother!
So happy for you mate! About time you got the space to level up your builds and content!
I was worried you would quit. Good thing you will keep going. Best of luck with your new apartment!
Congrats on your success. Sounds like an exciting and well deserved upgrade.
My favorite tanks are the african 90 and the bookshelf 90B these layouts are just fire
Congrats! Hope you guys get the new spot can't wait for the updates!🎉
outstanding channel. VERY impressed with your artistry.
Thank you very much!
good chance to make some how to move your aquarium videos! love to see how a pro like you would do it
Ooooh- the bookshelf tank is my favorite! !!I just did a setup in a similar tank, and I'm struggling with deciding what inhabitants to add as the hardscape is slowly increasing the hardness of the h20. If anyone has recommendations for nano fish that don't mind harder water, I'd be so appreciative. Best of luck on your new apartment MJ!
Excited to see what's next! I just want to say that I really enjoy the scope of your channel and your builds. I like that you were working within a relatively small space. A lot of youtubers have a ton of space for their 'studio' but a lot of those youtubers also live where land/housing/space can be cheaper (these people also might be doing their hobby as a job, I admit). But some of us are always going to be living in smaller spaces, in higher-cost areas, so that you were doing so much wonderful creative work in a one bedroom apartment was really inspiring. In some ways, more inspiring than huge scapes I see elsewhere. I am interested to hear if there are any regulations where you live regarding aquarium volume -- will you need to have a ground floor apartment to have a studio? Or are you going to keep hush about how many tanks you will have hehe
Best of luck with all the changes!
It's cool mentioning MD. Love both you guys!
May be hard to get, but you should absolutely try to get some of the small suluwaisi rainbow fish to go with the shrimp. Some rabbit snails would also match them in a biotype.
Good luck with your new home I can't wait for more updates.
I will have my fingers crossed you get the place you are hoping for!
You should scape a wall for your cats! Mine love theirs!
I am thinking that the culprit in your reef tank is probably your hermit crab. they can be super destructive in a tank. You might try some shrimp instead. There are some amazing shrimp species that would do great in your reef tank. Good luck with your move!
Agree with your thoughts-nanoreefs don’t have a lot of food so they will scavenge anything, including soft corals. Peppermint shrimps are notorious for eating lps if they don’t have enough food. Ask me how I found out…
Great tank! Good luck on getting a new place. By the way, I found my hermit crabs liked to pick at corals from time to time
Thankfully your not disappearing big fan for years now good luck in the move and look forward to seeing your new studio well done 👍 🔥🔥🔥🔥
You asked for suggestions for hard water nanofish, I recommend rainbows, there are a bunch of newer smaller rainbows on the market, most are pseudomugil species, also called “blue eyes”. There is a lack of reliable information on iriatherina wernerii or threadfin rainbowfish, so I would love to see them. My second choice would be Gertrude’s rainbows.
good luck Bro! Ill be here following your work
I woke up in the morning, checked my phone, and bam! There’s this video. I thought I was having a nightmare 😬🤣 Good luck with getting a new place. You deserve it, and I can’t wait to see the new setups. I’ll miss the shelf though. It’s kinda your trademark 🥰🌱🐟🌱🐠🌱
Well, i think it is the natural course of things (flow would say Takashi Amano San)...😊
Familly life and passion...
Space for both and so on.
Congrats to you and your half.❤
Heel cool allemaal. Heb jou kanaal pas sinds kort gevonden en ben bezig zo veel mogelijk te kijken. Je maak echt prachtige "simpele" scapes die haalbaar zijn voor iedereen.
MJ!!! That’s amazing news man! I am really hoping you get the new place. I’m so amazed you were able to do so much in a small studio! I can’t even imagine what you will be able to achieve in a larger space! Sending my blessings to you my friend and good luck with the future move! Moving can be really stressful haha. But I am sure you got this!!! ❤
for nano fish that like hard water you could get the least killifish. They are native to Florida which has hard water. Not sure if you can find them in your country but they are semi-common here in the states.
I love your tanks, they are awesome!
Don't how difficult it is to buy this fish there, but for the bamboo tank y love Heterandria formosa or Neoheterandria elegans.
Greetings from Madrid!!
I just subscribe to this channel today because you really caught my interest into aquascaping and I was shocked when I see the title of the video on my notification 😭😭😭😭
Looking forward to the next chapter! Keep it up! Loving the nano content!!’
I bought the shelving on marketplace because it looks so beautiful with all the tanks. And now I can’t get it up the stairs 🤣🤣 it is sitting in my tiny hallway
Good luck you need a bigger place plus the humidity from all those tanks must be unconfutable.
I believe that Celestial Pearl Danios like hard water. Might be cool for that tank.
Almost got a heart attack bro!
Best of luck in the new place!
Good luck on moving forward!
Congrats and good vibes for your improvements 🎉
In your new set up, could you also do some vivarium, terrariums or paludariums just for variety.
Hi..... We still have a problem with our plants. We use the same CO2 tanks what you have, or maybe had in meantime. But stil do we have troubles with the growth of the plants and the clearness of our tanks.
I remember you Oase sent you 2 StyleLine 125 tanks. Love the paludarium tank!
The other one was a Iwagumi tank that you were going to re-scape. Wondering what happened to that tank.
Heterandria formosa (Least Killifish) should go well with shrimps in harder water
How about adding CPDs? They are not fussy and shrimp safe but will go after shrimplets but it looks like your bamboo forest is dense enough. Hope you share some of your moving techniques.
I'm going through a really bad phase, I have a lot of problems and my wish is to be able to set up my first planted aquarium but I can't do it due to other things that are happening in my life and I'm very sad... Miss the hobby in my live
I like everyone thought OMG NOOOOOO! So glad its a move, not a goodbye. MJ, you really got us with that title! Exciting times ahead for you and your family and for us too. We await the first video from your new room. Congrats!
Chilli rasboras might be fine with hard water, although not ideal. Endlers like hard water, but there may target shrimp (fry), esp. the females.
So excited for you! Can’t wait to see more scapes and a new setup for ya!
