Hey! The first video glitched at 26 minutes :( But we are about soloutions here - so here is the second half. If you haven't already Watch part 1 here - ruclips.net/video/K_mQhCAEUkE/видео.html Thanks for watching!
Hope all Ghanaians who are inheriting their parents or grandparents' homes in Cantonments, Ridge, Airport, Dzorwulu or Osu will please please maintain the original design just as Nana has done here. These homes are architectural gems and tell a story about our history. They dont have to be torn down /converted to modern glass boxes. They just need minor interior upgrades to give them a new life. 🙏🏼
Being pressurised to knock mine down. This has given me great inspiration to continue with my 1960's old school dream. A big thank you Nana Amu and Vanessa.
Oh mese, no sexual intentions here but I just love this woman, her class her composure her style omg I been watching this literally whenever am bored .
Love Nana's design aesthetic. She has brilliantly shown how you can make minor adjustments to restore older architecture to create a very modern and balanced home. This is much nicer than some of the new builds being doing in Accra now.
Hello from Portland, Oregon USA! This space is so beautifully done! I love how she used local artists. The mirror with the natural straw so meticulously aligned imitates the sun and makes me happy just looking at it! The plants are all so healthy and thriving. Love the Kente cloth! My husband is from Ghana and we look forward to returning for a visit! Thank you for this darling video!
I don't really comment, but this house right here is exceptional. I love, love, love it. Nana's artistic mind that materializes so well, is amazing. I would love to visit one day. Excellent
Of all of these "house-tour-in-(somewhere in Africa)" videos I've watched, this is one of the best homes I've come across. I wish I could buy it and live in it.
Mz. Nana is the aunty of my dreams! Her vision is so magnificent! Her design language is what I hope to see more of when people in the diaspora build in the motherland. Just incredible! And the incorporation of work from local artisans is inspired! I'm a fan!!
Great job Vanessa! It's so lovely to see NATURE incorporated into building design and Nana Amu's airbnb designs are the epitome of that! I'm not surprised her occupancy rate is so high. Such an amazing place. Thanks I've just added this to my airbnb list
Wow! I would like for her to design my house. She's quite an artistic woman. Her look and the way she dresses tells you she's an artist. She seems very business like and professional. Awesome vid.
Another great video Vanessa and what a lovely lady...wish she was the president of Ghana...imagine how the country can be transformed in no time very creative...
I know this classy lady. I used to work with her at GIS. I can definitely vouch for her class, style and great sense of humour. Wishing her more and more success!
Beautiful space with plenty of lighting and greenery well done to Nana. When I next visit Ghana will definitely spend a night it's definitely worth it.
Seriously this woman is AMAZING! I want to meet her and be her friend! Her aesthetic is EXACTLY mine but she has the eye for design that I lack! Simply amazing!
Thanks you for this video..Nature will always bless your guest..i am in the process of systemically planting trees on my land b4 i build..thats how important greenery is. this house reminds me so much of Jamaica.
Woooow!! this arbnb is absolutely stunning!! Nana Amu Fleischer-Djoleto you are incredibly talented and I love your design! you should be featured on House and Home magazine! I hope to visit you arbnb in the future. Blessings and love!
Can I just say materials are everything!!! I have seen such a decline in materials in the U.S. to clothes sheets, etc (not the price shocker) When I was in Ghana 3 yrs ago I went to the Booker T museum and there was a market there. Jesus Christ ok the artisan products okkk!! All the cheap stuff coming from China no mam!!! I bought the most beautiful hand made all cotton jacket at the airport. I mean just the products there gave me a new outlook on artisan ship!! This is what Africa is...and please bring an extra suitcase because you will want to buy everything!!
Just to reiterate I bought so many things!! I bought a pair of mules could have been in Paris fashion week runway they where made is burlap sack aahhhhh!!! I even remember these girls who had made these amazing cutting boards from stone... yeah Ghana see you soon!!
I saw all of this in part 1, which I have watched about 3 times and shared. Lovely home and lovely host. PS: Just checked and part 1 now glitches at 27 minutes.
Hi Vanessa. Can you please tell that lady that I really love her creativity. I also loved her interior and exterior paints. Those are my favorites not orange or yellows. She can actually start a successful interior/ exterior design company.
Love this place ❤️ usually most of the new constructions everywhere end up looking like some kind of hotel or lounge areas. This literally feels like home 🏡 If I ever get to visit Accra, Ghana, would love to stay here 😊
Vanessa, thanks 😊 for your authentic videos. I have always been eager to watch your videos because of the flare you engage your guests and the intimate relations you've developed with them 🙏
How about the beautiful voice and mellifluous accent? Very well suited for radio and television broadcasting . The queen will be proud of development of queen’s English in west Africa . Next, serve the afternoon tea in the settings with scones and full cream. ☺️😊
The ac unit has no air circulation around the unit not going to work properly - the coil section is totally block off and need to get access when services are needed. Nice studio I will live there has nice touches - well done.

Oh mese, no sexual intentions here but I just love this woman, her class her composure her style omg I been watching this literally whenever am bored .
An Architectural edifice,. Moving with the times without leaving the past behind. A symbiotic relationship between the past and present
Love Nana's design aesthetic. She has brilliantly shown how you can make minor adjustments to restore older architecture to create a very modern and balanced home. This is much nicer than some of the new builds being doing in Accra now.

The work she was able to achieve in 5 days🔥
Fantastic. That’s how building should be decorated with nature in mind. No more concrete jungle buildings
