Magneto isn't "Immune" to Inverted Controls as you said, but his helmet prevents him from Inverted Controls which are caused by (this is the important bit) TELEPATHY. THAT'S why he resists Emma Frost's Inverted Controls for example.
Delirium works the same way through Telepathy I'm assuming.
However, the Inverted Controls in the GM fight and on Confusion and Greater Confusion Nodes are NOT due to Telepathy, and so he's still affected by those.

Yo lags could u test the cyclops and beast synergies with Prof x. They look pretty promising on paper
I think Kabam's wording about reverse control immunity isn't precise enough.
Those champs are immune to "mind control" from champs, and hence don't get reversed, not immune to the reversal from nodes.
Realized that in the Magik fight in the Cavalier difficulty.

I just finished act 6 a few days ago and used Prof X as my main guy against GM. Didn’t solo since it was my first attempt but he made the last phase so much easier.
The most funny thing happened to me : I didn't play mcoc for over 1 year and then I decided to come back to this game and they gave a 5 star nexus crystal and I got sorcerer supreme , man thing and Hawkeye but I didn't know who to pick so picked sorcerer supreme randomly and now he is my favourite champion

Today I opened my 1st 5* featured (I had it from the epic mutant island)
And I got Hyperion (New champ), he went straight to r3, once I get him Awakened he'll go to R4
I'm actually sad coz of this, coz just a few weeks ago I took up my 5* unduped venom to R4.........

How unfortunate!!!!! Normally, Emma frost should be completely immune to reversed controls and mind control!!! She is the most powerful mutant telepath!!! At least, Kabam should make her immune to psionic/ psychic/ telepathic attacks( I mean Reversed controls, mind control) when she is in diamond form( The anti- telepathic form)!!! She is even more powerful than Professor X!!!!
Emma frost should be like this:
When she is in diamond form, she must be unable to reverse the opponent's controls( that's because, her diamond form is preventing her from using her telepathy, on the other hand it's granting her an immunity against telepathy/ psionic attacks) also, she has to be immune to reversed controls without a synergy + mind control!!!
When she is in telepath form, she must have the ability to mind control the opponent's mind, because she can manipulate others minds, projecting thoughts, wipe out memories, projecting telepathic illusions, placing psychic inhibitors on others minds to prevent them from using their powers!!! And even in telepath form, she also has to be immune to reversed controls/ mind control, because she can shield/ cloak her mind, plus, no one was able to pierce her psionic defenses!!!
In addition, she has to be capable to bypass invisibility, miss, evade + her special attacks cannot be blocked, because she is able to absorb thoughts, reading thoughts, manipulate others minds in general!!!
She must have "indestructible" buff while she is in diamond form!!! While in diamond form, she cannot be destroyed, she doesn't need to eat, drink!!!
Kabam should definitely reconsider Emma frost!!!!😢😢😭😭😭😭😢😢

His base damage isn't that good, but normally you stack prowesses and use the sp2 and deal a ton of damage.
So in a fight like this, his damage will be quite horrible
