Thank you, The Bramfam
Having your child purposely miss school for a brand deal you signed them up for IS PURE SELFISHNESS! They have their priorities all messed up. They pulled her out of school largely for themselves!
who cares 😭 why prioritize a public school system when you can prioritize other things while still doing great in school, which penelope is doing.
@@caleaBaby667 who cares 😭 it’s their life and she was doing great in school the only problem was the attendance rate, which as luis stated they only cared bc they get payed per each attendant
Not really, what would be more beneficial? If she wasn’t forced and Penelope wanted to, that shouldn’t be an issue.
Debt from going to college ??!! You guys wanna pull her out of school so she can do brand deals. That’s work !! That’s child labor !!!Are you saying she is not getting paid ? You should put aside money that she earns !!!!!
They felt like prisoners because they had to wake up at 6am?! LOL WHAT - like every single other parent who goes to work and takes their kid to school?!
I was shook 😂
sweet Jesus.. i feel like i'm going crazy lol. did she really just say she doesn't want people to know them? to see inside their house? and that she's taking her kid out of school because she can't get out of bed in time to take her? what in the name of God is happening here? i'm...completely....floored.
Right!! I’m shocked at the comments debating home school vs public. Did they watch any of this video. These idiots are so clueless. “Ya I’m not going to share with the school what we do. They don’t need to know.” You share and exploit your kids for a living online for the entire world to see. Speechless
If Penelope wants to go to college, please support that. Don’t encourage her not to go to college and do “social media”… If you’re worried about her struggling and getting into debt when going to college, I don’t think you’ll have to worry about that. You and Luis are blessed and doing well, I’m sure you wouldn’t allow P to get into debt.
Love the podcast btw! A lot of valid points.
If P has been doing social media for long I’d imagine they have some sort of saving account for her. That should be plenty to cover college and if not, there’s always scholarships to cover the rest. She doesn’t need to go to a super expensive school to get a degree and give herself more options in life.
As a teacher, you can tell when a parent is keeping their kid out of school for selfish and wrong reason. You can also tell when a parent is keeping a kid home to do a mental health or fun day. This was them wanting their count days to be full.
Mom has a brand deal isn't a good excuse to miss school and I think you know that. When you care about your child's education, you don't bring them in tardy all the time. It isn't good for the child and it disrupts class.
29:26 is a crazy thing to say 😮 I get that college isn’t for everyone but actively discouraging Penelope from going to college and instead pursue social media is crazy
did yuu ignore the part where she mentioned that she only said it because there's times that Penelope says she wants to do social media
Agree with your comment!
@@londralazoI haven’t gotten that far yet but I mean, it’s common for a child to want to follow in their parent’s foot steps but you shouldn’t discourage other opportunities.
But if that’s something she doesn’t want to do, then why push her to attend to college
@@IRRAA clearly you didn’t watch the video. Her daughter literally told her she wants to go to college and she said “why? Why not do social media?” 🙄
It seems like you were saying Penelope was holding you back in life. You should’ve known when having kids your life will never be the same.
Right!? Her schooling was intervening their spontaneous vacations. I get its tricky with work bc I’ve dealt with that. But with family vacations we plan it out to work with our schedule.
letting your child skip school for brand deals is absurd. i hope bramty at least has a fund to give her children when they turn 18 of all the money theyve generated
Agree with your critics, but you also have to admit that CPS and tracking tardiness etc keeps certain kids safe from their families. Penelope is lucky to have parents that care about her and also have the ability to provide her with options. Not every kids has this, and public school may be the only avenue to have an opportunity in life.
For me it was the opposite..
I agree with a lot of what you’re saying but I also think you should take into consideration that it didn’t work for YOU because of your lifestyle and your career. If you guys had 9-5 with kids like most of the world you might not feel the same way.
Exactly
Agreed!
She’s 6 and people always compliment her vocabulary and critical thinking skills. And that’s definitely from out home. I felt like she was being held back in school and now that she went back im terrified. Is possible to homeschool while holding a “regular” lifestyle as long as you have extended support
Our friends work, the parents have different shifts and homeschool.
Plus, their kids are in so many activities! It's all how you want to manage and you and your spouse agree.
💯
They have a tendency of starting projects then stopping with little to no explanation lol
I was thinking the same thing
Please please acknowledge that they don’t owe you an explanation.
Right let’s see how long this ‘project’ wil last
Yup lol
What are you talking about??
I think homeschooling is a great idea, but being that Bramty thinks the earth is flat maybe you guys should consider a tutor
The comment I was looking for
Maybe you should consider one too with the way you wrote that 😂
Well just because she thinks different than you does not mean shes wrong. The system has been lying to us for decades, brainwashing people to not think by themselves and just obey because once you think different and star asking questions they call you crazy. Smh

Yall are DISGUISTING!! You don't want to get up in the morning and want your kids to work!! You are the reason for her anxiety and stress from making her LATE!!!
Bramty don't tell Penelope she doesn't have to go to college. Tell her she can do whatever she loves to do as long as its honest money and doesnt go against any of ur ethical and moral values. Encourage college. U don't know if social media will be around in 10+ years! Education is so important.
“Yeah we’re pulling our kid out of school cause we don’t want to wake up early and they can’t shoot content for us”
“Have a huge debt” girl, y’all have enough money to go around and pay for your baby girls college. If she wants to go why don’t you encourage her??
Now a days you can’t get anywhere with a college degree, you’ll be making the same or less than someone with no degree.
@@IRRAAthat’s somewhat true but also not true. A lot of careers requires a degree. A lawyer, Dr, vet, RN, teacher, therapist, principal. Jobs that are hard labor just require experience but you start at the bottom
@@almaurbina8464 yes but that’s if you want that title of a teacher, rn, doctor or lawyer. It’s easier to be a social media influencer, ppl like watching stupid stuff anyway. She already has parents that can help her with experience
@@IRRAA yeah even social media is not reliable. Look at Mimi she struggles to get her views. Who’s to say YT or TT will be popular in 10-15 years.
@@IRRAA it’s not just about the money, maybe Penelope wants to contribute to society in a more meaningful way than being a social media influencer
I'm so sorry but all of their reasons sounded like they are trying to raise a bunch of lazy kids that will turn into lazy adults. What's wrong with waking up early and having a routine. Bramty said P would come home stressed. Life is not easy and as time goes by it is only going to get harder and more stressful. We have to teach our kids to know how to handle stress and tough situations. That's why there are so many young kids taking their own lives because they can't take the stress.
1000000% saying their lives were like prison bc they had to take her kid to school & waking up at 6am is RIDICULOUS. Screams privilege. Their out of touch with the real world
"Do you know how crazy it is to get up a 8 yr old at 6am?" Yes, parents have been doing it for over 100 years. Sounds like your enabling and spoiling Penelope.
It honestly is not healthy for children to wake up that early, being someone who works in a school I feel absolutely terrible for them. I constantly have them falling asleep and just not feeling good being up that early. They are so young and need the sleep to grow.
@@mabychavarin9681 which is why they should be in bed by 8. I'm not that mom, but common sense is losing its touch these days. We make excuses instead of trying to push ourselves to the limit.
I agree with this!! It’s normal for children to get up early and have a set schedule/routine.
Nah kids that age shouldn't be getting up at 6am unless it's their normal wake time. My kid sleeps til 8am no matter how early she goes to bed. It is often done for the sake of having enough school bus drivers available for all the routes. It is not a decision made in the best interest of the children. The school district by me finally started high school later by almost 2 hours a couple years ago. The grades of the kids rose dramatically. It matters.
@caitydid88 Again.....this has been a system for decades...... our ancestors walked miles to school. Making excuses, yet there are kids out here doing it.
Everything you’re saying in this episode is very much giving I’m entitled. Not everyone has the luxury of staying home to homeschool. Waking up at 6 in the morning unfortunately majority of Americans don’t have an option.
Everyone has an option. Find a way or stay unhappy. If you’re stuck it’s bc your mindset is stuck. They aren’t entitled they earned everything they can give their kids. Nothing they said about the system is wrong, your comment is projection
Not everyone gets the privilege but if you have the opportunity like them why wouldn’t you? The school system is honestly not good and if you can teach your children yourself that’s amazing cause you’re not only able to teach them in your way but you get to spend time with your children. School is so early and so many hours a day and it’s unhealthy for children to be at a table for hours at a time. I work at a school and can honestly say it affects their health and mood.
Many people can homeschool but don’t.
She literally said the same thing as your
Comment, they understand not everyone has the opportunity, this is just what THEY are doing with their child, you don’t need to homeschool if you don’t want to. It’s ok.
Im sorry if this offends anybody including you bramty but i feel like those are just excuses. Everyone who has children sometimes struggles to make their schedule fit their kids schedule. But that doesn't stop them from sending them to school.
They seem to be really out of touch with reality /:
Bashing school teachers is CRAAZZZYY
Some peoples reality isnt the same as your reality 🤍
@Maverick-zy7yu yes, but the world still operates with rules and schedules
@@pg9566 welp. Homeschool equals freedom. Sorry youre a prisoner to a schedule.
College is important. Just like you wouldn’t want your parents pushing you into college, you shouldn’t limit your kids from pursuing higher education. Math is important. Science is important.
Say it again for the people in the back.
Exactly!! Wow I feel bad for the kids.
@@moneta264don’t feel bad they’ll be fine I’m sure
LET ME SAY THIS LOUDER COLLEGE IS NOT FOR EVERYONE!!
@@karenrodriguez9050 I believe her comment was meant as to not limit her children with their education decisions when they get older. Not necessarily that everyone needs to go to college. I’m sure she’s aware that college isn’t for everybody.
She mentioned in the video that P told her that she wanted to go to college and she said something along the lines of “girl, no. Just do social media.” or something like that. I think that’s what she’s referring to.
I think you’re taking her out of school to benefit you. That’s all. For the brand deals you get paid, to travel with your kids, to be lazy and sleep in. Stop saying your child’s education is affecting your life. It’s not about YOU. Wake up!
Damn , faacts
It benefits everybody. I’m grateful I have the ability to even homeschool her and provide a prosperous life for my family. You 100% won’t make me feel bad for wanting to TRAVEL with my kids or accept a bag to secure my kids future. Bye.
imagine being pressed cause someone wants to do something with THEIR child to benefit THEIR future 😂 chill put you kids in public school and do all the things your attacking her for
Why you mad girl! Its not your child!
@@dreafar4137bramty asked for people’s thoughts/opinions at the end of the video…. L
I went to a SMALL public highschool. Less than 350 in the entire high school. It was a fabulous education because they were able to give individualized attention and really wanted us to understand concepts and a growth mindset. They required us to take a sewing class, foods class, as well as a finance class in order to graduate as well. ❤
This is awesome good for you!
The least you can do is build a college fund for your kids. And if they don’t go to college they can use that money for something else, since they’ll be so smart from homeschooling. Youre def building up Ps life to revolve around yours and idk if that’s fair but good luck to her in the up and coming school year.
I was going to say the same. They mentioned about the college debt. but building that already even if P doesn't go to college will cover her in any direction she decides to take as an adult. I went to college for a bit and I wont ever regret it, I absolutely loved the challenge. It taught me so much.
P is the reason their channel grew. She was in her videos showing life as a military wife/mom. She’s in their videos so much and even does her own advertisements. Im surprised they’re worried about college debt. They have plenty of money and some should be reserved for Penelope to use however she wants when she graduates HS
The video said it. Penelope wants to go to college but Bramty was encouraging her to do social media in a way. 🤦♀️Think before you speak, please.
What a shame...
Undereducated parents interfearing in a child's educational development. If she indeed belongs in a gifted program, I don't think a parent that says "We couldn't do nothing" can give proper education.
School is made to prepare students for the working force and learn to make a living, while parents at home teach values, behaviour, ethics, proper eating, and lifestyle decisions.
🙌🏻 💯
I agree!!
Did you even watch the whole thing?!? There are many other ways to prepare your kid for the “working force” without sending them to school for 8 hours a day for 9 months a year for 13 years straight.
calm down lol
School teaches children soft skills more than anything. Teamwork, independence, critical thinking, how to be analytical , problem solving, empathy, responsibility, time management , social skills etc. Being surrounded by others 8 hours a day ( beyond family & friends) is crucial to a child's development. Growing up, I also obviously " disliked" going to school but as I entered the workforce and started building my career, this became significantly more apparent. Learning hard math is not for everyone but it opens up doors to career paths that you would not have , if you were to not take it. Obviously the school system is flawed, but it is sooo important to the child's development. It's not easy but that's life. Humans adapt and the only way to grow is to go through uncomfortable periods of time, even as a child. These are the years to shape them and teach them about hard work
Couldn't have said it better 👏🏻
True!!!!!! Our children have got to learn something out of the box dear.
She can learn just the same independent, critical thinking, problems solving skills & responsibility from home schooling as well.. If anything it could build her confidence. It’s not to say that their gonna keep her home all the time they do travel a lot & they have friends w/ kids so her social skills won’t be lacking. They did say they were going to try it out first to see how it goes. The worst that can happen it doesn’t work out & they can send her to a private school or back to public.. honestly she’s a really smart kid and I don’t think she will be lacking in any areas. It seems like they have taught her very well already. The way she speaks & the way her mind works!
The problem is that the isolation takes the child away from real world scenarios, where there is competition, pressure, and external factors that affect your success. These are factors that affect everyone and its crucial to learn how to manage the stress that comes with his at a young age. This is not to say homeschooling cannot be done well, but I think its very rare thay a parent can isolate their emotional involvement in their child's life, the way a teacher would, to teach them these soft skills. Teachers study for years to obtain this career. What I mainly disagree with is the reasoning behind why they are homeschooling. The time management involved, the work expected, the responsibility required, consistency & routine is just to name a few. The sole reasons why they want to home school is the critical reasons why school is very important.
@@aloguzyessss to everything you said! Now I can compare private, public and homeschool because my daughter did all three. I can confidently say homeschooling has been the best option for her. She has some sort of activity 5 days of the week, so she socializes alot with so many age groups not just her grade level. Plus, has the time to do charity work since she doesn't have homework. She went to 3rd grade in private school and didn't know how to tell time yet, she came home nearly everyday crying because she was struggling! At that point I was concerned in what is she actually learning. Now that we're homeschooling her brain has blossomed because I started to teach her in a way she understood and now she's ahead of the game and her vocabulary is beyond her age. Kids learn differently and that's why many struggle in school.
The counselors of a school have a point. You’re not being logical.
I completely agree that our school system is terrible, but saying math and algebra is dumb is crazyyyy. We would literally have no society or engineering without math… math definitely matters lol
Obviously math is important in our world. I meant it’s unnecessary to learn that when you don’t want to major in a career that NEEDS math
@@Bramfambut how do you know she won’t want to be an engineer later in life? Then she won’t have that opportunity because she didn’t learn geometry 😬
@@Bramfam you sound so dumb because you don’t know if in her future she is going to need to used math.
@@BramfamI understand that, but how will they ever know what they want to major in if they’re not exposed to it all? There’s many classes I thought were unnecessary to my engineering major, but now that I’m older I understand how it helps make you a well rounded critical thinker.
@@Ashleydawn03312 what makes you think she won’t learn geometry? She’ll be teaching her daughter math and whatever type of math she needs to take as she gets older.
As parents, they have the right to educate their kids as they please. I still love them, but they intentionally or unintentionally, just offended a lot of good people. People who work regular jobs that can’t afford to homeschool. Educators who bust their butts to educate the tiny humans. It’s a total slap to hear educators being called babysitters, when there are so many good ones out there. Not all kids will have brand deals so school is their best option to escape poverty.
My husband and are both work people. We made a decision to homeschool our child. No excuses. We both work and made the effort to make it happen. We are not rich. Where there's a will there's a way.
If you are offended that someone just said the American school system is trash then you need to reevaluate your entire existence. It’s like calling the sky blue. Everyone knows the school system in the US is horrendous lol.
@@argiew8516 same here! Me and my hubby work minimum wage at that, for now…. And we homeschool my 6 yr old and have a 1 year old. And I stay home with my kids working still. Literally no excuses and with very little to no help from family ❤️ no excuses
@@BreaMichelle3exactly 😭 i know this from experience and last year i changed to a public charter school which is entirely different from traditional public school and it has been so much better
Nailed it.
You guys do realize that they are entitled to their opinion? It’s THEIR child. America school system definitely needs to do better.
School system needs to be NOT corrupted... That's something else...
Yes it’s just that some points were inconsistent
Yes but missing alot of days has its consequences. Of course Penelope feels stressed because bramty is saying that she misses alot of school.
They need to pay teachers more. The public school system could be better if the government invested in schools instead of funding millions of dollars to law enforcement.
Lol except for college and guns you guys are good. I’m from France and go say that to middle schoolers who do 8 till 5 or 6. Trust me you it’s not that terrible for you honestly. School is the same everywhere and worst somewhere.
Here’s a question: if you guys didn’t have money/do social media and had average jobs, would you still discourage colleges to your child?
good question! I want an answer for this too bc I’m sure if everyone had really good paying jobs a lot of people would homeschool. But the reality is that not everyone is famous + rich and don’t have that opportunity to homeschool.
My family isn't famous we don't have money we're struggling to pay bills but we homeschool my siblings because we can't afford to take them to school they can't walk because they run over a lot of kids here it's sad
I obviously don’t do social media but I am starting homeschooling my kids this year. I would never discourage it but I also wouldn’t encourage it more than following another path. I would just support what they wanna do.
i’m sure they’d support her either way it’s just she’s so young and doesn’t understand what college is just that we need to go to college as kids which isn’t always the case
Do what’s best for your children. So many parents blame a bad school system, but parents are part of the problem when they don’t comply with rules. Best wishes to Penelope, please don’t tell her not to go to college, what if she wants to be a doctor? Lawyer? Teacher? She will need college 🙏❤️
it’s because bramty thinks about money a lot and probably is going to leave her kids some inheritance so they don’t NEED college but what you said is very true, what if they wanna be someone of use to the world in life ?
then she will go to college she’s barely 8 now you guys can’t expect her to know what she wants to be 😭 honestly elementary pushing college onto children like that is insane
@@anahielpinchepdude it’s even more insane to push an 8yr old away from college wtf lol
@@missyelliot6237 how is it insane, what makes it “insane” is the simple fact that it started with pushing kids into going to college at such a young age in the first place ☠️ y’all tell kids to act like kids but then praise pushing kids into adult-like things it’s hysterical. what or why exactly does an 8 year old have to worry about going to college when they haven’t even fully developed nor do they understand themselves in ways people in high school would 😭
Penelope doesn’t have to struggle if y’all start saving now for her college and if she decides not to go to college give her that money through time for a car or a house!
I can solve your problem in 1 minute girl.
1. Wake up early, put your alarm. You’re a mom girl.
2. Don’t make your daughter miss class. Period. Show her how to be responsible and respectful of others.
3. Hold the brand deals until she’s older if she can’t prioritize school. I mean is money THAT important? Have your husband do brand deals 😂 y’all just working out all day anyways.

Literally embarrassing to show where they hold their priorities
Right 😢
This feels wrong, like the intentions and reasons?
If I had a daughter this smart I will pay all the money for her to find the right program for smart kids where shes happy extending her brain.
I feel like adults who say they felt lost in school and didn’t know what they wanted to do when they grew up and look down upon the education system didn’t have true support from their parents. Because parents who take the time to learn their kids, engage and observe their kid’s strengths, put them in extracurricular activities where they can excel aside from the formal/traditional school system and help lead their kids into their future careers. It seems like Mimi and Luis mom weren’t very involved and that’s why you both don’t see the true value of the system. Not every system is great, I will say that for sure. But they are definitely not all bad. You just have to find the right one for your child. You don’t have to always do it yourself. You just have to trust and believe and be present and supportive every step of the way for it to be worth it, idk if any of this makes sense.
I love watching your videos! The school is amazing for keeping track of tardiness because this is how it is determined whether CPS needs to be involved or not. Maybe Penelope was so stressed because she missed so many days and it is hard to catch-up. Kids need a stable life especially growing up so her having a routine of going to school is great for her and it will help her in the future. If your kids decide they want to attend college then why not support them? It doesn't make sense. Life as a influencer will not last forever.
I hope you know that you both as influencers know how to read, write and do math THANKS to teachers.
That’s why they said they’re sending Levy and Balcom to learn the basics bc she needs a teachers help with that
My daughter goes to school. BUT I TAUGHT HER HOW TO WRITE, READ, WALK, EAT, ETC! Teachers are amazing but yes it is possible to homeschool. Plus homeschooling kids have higher grades and more knowledge than some public school kids.
@@oralysr5759so she can’t teach basics but is ok with teaching more advanced subjects …. Makes sense. What I’m hearing is that they’re ok with kids knowing just the basics because they want them to be influencers and you don’t need schooling to do that.

Ooooo yeah absolutely not. The privilege in the room is crazy. I work at a title 1 middle school and we do not get paid per attendance lololol. We work extremely hard and it is very annoying when you have those kids who are constantly absent. We do a lot for kids and school isn’t all about academics. They learn so much socially mentally and emotionally. Hope homeschooling goes well.
Andddddd not being okay with “what our kids are learning in school” girl your kids literally cuss at 4 years old and you laugh. Idk what school is teaching sensitive personal things? It must be a florida thing 😭

YESSSSSS
They said “she ONLY missed 20 days” do they not realize that equals out to missing almost a whole month of learning
Why not put her back into a private school? I think some people can make homeschooling work but lets be real your not doing this for the best interest of your daughter your doing this for yourself and your career.
Since Bramty is not the smartest of the bunch, what about a tutor once they’re middle/high school age?
I could give my point of view as a public school teacher, but it really is circumstantial. Some schools are brand new with great programs and some are falling apart. At the end of the day, parents have to do what is best for their children, and public school is the best environment some kids have, which is why I teach where I grew up.
Time has changed Ruth.... Since 2020 they're pushing little kids to inject themselves with a freaking exprrimental v a c c i n e... Kids!! And then the whole gender ideology. Kids should not learn s*xual stuff from a bunch of trachers and at young age... It's a personal aspect. Public schools are funded.... C*rruption is there where you don't expext. Open your eyes. it’s true tho, our school system is literally set just for us to fail. We never learn about money or how to save or how to live this life and survive. We only learn to go to school for 8 hours, get in debt and then go work for 40/80 hours
Yup! And they actually add value to our society!
So you’re taking her out of school so she can do social media ?!
I like yall but it seems like your taking her out for your own well being.
Waking up at 6am isn’t crazy guys. It teaches kids to have responsibilities!!! And wake up to go to work. Just because you guys are influencers and want to wake up at 11am 🤦🏻♀️
sleep is super important for the immune system and development of the child. she's not lying. when i worked as a teacher kids would be falling asleep constantly. 6 am is way too early especially for a child.
Influencers might not be around forever I hope you know that.
I Started Cracking Up When Bramty Was Like “& That’s It “ 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
the reason is very selfish .... she's a child and needs to be a child... she shouldn't be pulled out of school to do videos .... very selfish
I totally agree with what you guys said about high schools only teaching you to memorize things. I’m 19 years old and just starting my 2nd year of college. My 1st year was such a struggle for me. I went into college with zero study habits when in college you actually have to understand what is being taught so I spent my whole 1st year trying to figure out the most effective way to study to ensure that i would completely understand the content that was being taught. I never realized until I got to college that high school is purely memorization.
Socialization being peoples top priority is crazy! Especially being that out of the eight hours they’re gone they only get to “socialize” a total of MAYBE an hour. School pretty much prepares our kids for corporate America and to me THAT is limiting to children. As a 27 years old women it has taking me yearssss to genuinely figure out what I love, figure out what works for me, my learning style, my passions, ect. Homeschooling gives children the freedom to find the answers to those questions at a very young age. There’s no one to limit them, there’s no students shamming or bullying them into was “cool” and most of all there’s no one to compare themselves too. They create their own standard and typically are much more confident . Just because they’re homeschooled doesn’t mean they can not still attend college or better yet an Ivy League. However, homeschool prepares children for either decision they choose. Entrepreneurship or corporate America. Also, They public school system is definitely lacking. Education has gone down and so many have become teachers because of the security and not the passion. I’m friends with so many women that are teachers that literally say when they have kids they would never place them the the public school system. That’s not to say every school is terrible but we must be real, most schools are not doing very well, and American education is the lowest compared to other countries.
Your correct it's a complete lie. I told my husband who had time to socialize? You were in class all day only time we had to talk was at lunch and recess in elementary then in high school ONLY at lunch. All of my socializing was after school and mostly during the summer.
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
What? they have the option to socialize all day if they are not taking an exam. Group projects, play time, recess, lunch… it’s primary school not college! You can use the excuse that children get bullied but what happens when they enter the workforce one day? You think bullying and discrimination stops when you’re older? How will they be able to handle it if they were never exposed to it?
There is also a such thing as negative socialization that people seem to not recognize.
@@newmamaful agreed. It shows In the number of adults struggling with anxiety and depression today. None of them can process of emotions and problem solving correctly.
So you’re pulling her out of school to make her work. Wow.
Your only teacher isn’t just in school. Parents are teachers too. So life skills should be taught at home. Like writing a check, opening a bank account, cooking ect.
Exactly!!! I think they’re missing this. As a parent especially an active one should be involved at school as well as at home. Build the community you want for your child instead of blaming the school system/ teachers.
I’m 100% home schooling my children. I understand completely where you guys are coming from
Bramty everyone struggles let her choose her life if she wants to do college encourage that
imagine if they had a 9-5....
Lmao your child’s education was in the way of YOUR life hahahahaaaaaaaa
This episode is crazy and it’s showing the privilege YALL have! Plus all say not to go to college and not motivating her acting like she will have loans YALL are rich pay for her school.
I also pulled out my kids from Public school last year and this is our first year homeschooling. I 100% agree with both of you guys about the reasons for homeschooling! It is a little scary and overwhelming starting this journey but we are blessed to be able to do it because not all parents have the privilege. You guys are great parents and everything will go just fine! 😊
It’s not just about the curriculum. You don’t think this will affect your children in the long run as far as socialization? Making friends? Create social anxiety because they won’t be used to being around children for long periods of time? Or just even learn how to interact with other people other than family. There’s a lot of different characters out there and I think it’s important for children to be out in the world and learn how other people work.
You mean to tell me that being in a class room where you are told to be quiet and stay still for hours is better? Recess is like what 30 min max? If you are homeschooling it is your responsibility to do it properly. We have co-ops! There are huge communities of homeschool families who get together regularly for park days, field trips & extra curricular classes. We aren’t just home all day doing worksheets if anything our schedules are bussy and packed with activities & places to go. Not to mention all the sports we have our kids in.

One of my daughters struggle with social anxiety and is in public school. Homeschool doesn’t create social anxiety
Thank a teacher, y’all are products of public school and public benefits. Especially being minorities, be respectful of the parents who have to work regular jobs.
Both are blessed to be able to choose to homeschool.
She's a flat earther hahah respectfully her being a product of public schools shows that
The audacity of these people
If you have the luxury to homeschool her, I’m glad you’re choosing to do so. There’s also people out there who can but chose not to do it, so it’s nice to see you wanting to do that for her despite how busy you already are. 🙌🏻
Discrediting teachers who don’t get paid enough is crazy
Not all schools are bad and this way!! Idk what kind of schools yall have in Florida but where I live it's not that way!! Kids healthy and better then most people where I live!
As an elementary school teacher, I can say I agree with you, if I was able to homeschool my child, I would. You guys are doing great for yours!!
Where there is a urge, there is a possibility... You especially could homeschool your kid.
@@VioletLife8it’s easier said than done
@@VioletLife8are you going to pay her bills while she homeschools her kids? Please stop the ridiculous comments.
Make a kid skip shool to make her work ??
Does this really sound right in your heads ?
All I hear is travels and trips that benefit you guys rather than the kidos education. Respectfully
Why does she need to have her kids doing brand deals? So she’s mad about the school over working her but a brand deal has to be done? I don’t get it.
You felt like prisoners? Are you serious? Have you two actually seen life outside your “social media” bubble? I know you’re entitled to your opinion, and that’s fine. But don’t make it seem that this same situation applies to most working people. Not everyone is able to afford private school, let alone have the time to homeschool their children. Aside, math and science are very important. Us being able to have RUclips and social media is thanks to what? SCIENCE.
Sounds like your doing this for you and Luis this just doesn’t sound right
Please read “A framework for understanding poverty” by Ruby K. Payne.
For most people, education is the only way out. Penelope is blessed to have this opportunity. Best of luck to you guys
I agree with homeschooling, bc till this day I’m so confused why they’d stop teaching us newer generations how to read and write cursive when all of our ancestors wrote in cursive. Even our documents in the us government are in cursive. I’d definitely suggest to teach her that as well!
Im 20 and I struggle in doing my signature
Very true!
Learning cursive helped me read other people's handwriting too. As an adult many people use it to write regularly especially doctors and thank goodness we were taught it. I've had people apologize for their writing being messy or them using cursive and I'm like, your fine I can read it.
Bc probably things change as life continues. 😐😐
@@millennialodyssey5956learning how to write in cursive is the least of the aspects you should worry about with the public school teachings... Dammnnn.... They h a r v e s t kids ..did you not see Sound of Freedom???
I’m so happy to hear y’all are homeschooling, I started 2 years ago and it’s been a great change!
During quarantine I knew absolutely that I could never homeschool them. Props to all teachers.
I watched a young relative go through the Kumon learning program up until the end of high school and it put him at 2-3 grade levels ahead of his actual grade. It would be extremely beneficial for all of your children in addition to homeschooling. It’s part class work, part home work. Look into it, again, I HIGHLY recommend it for kids who are in school currently or about to enter school or going to be home schooled.
Thank you so much for this!!!
@@ximloya I saw it first hand AND worked there for a few years. It’s such a good program if you want your kids to feel confident in school!
I know people who did Kumon and hated it
@@strrangermike yeah it’s definitely not easy and it’s a lot work but it’s a great tool
KUMON is not the only curriculum homeschoolers have access too we have access to a lot of curriculums
“Felt like prisoners bc we had to wake up at 6am” Lmfaoooo this is bulllllll waking up at 4am 5 am 6 am for work or school is a regular person life you guys act so privledged
yikes. to this entire video.
Feels to me like they didn’t want Penelope to attend public school for THEIR OWN being… hmmmmm idk…
I watched this for a bit of entertainment but WOW!!! You nagging about school because you have to take trips or because Penelope needs to wake up early it’s ridiculous. I really hope that little girl gets the education all kids deserve. Tardiness is usually a sign of other things happening in the household!
The lady was the school social worker. Also, not everyone has the luxury of missing school for brand deals. Students miss and are tardy a lot when there are things wrong at home. This his sometimes the only way kids are kept safe. When the school alerts and notifies the county of neglect ect…
A lot of people always speak negatively about public schools only caring about attendance due to funding. However they fail to realize that, that same funding is what funds enrichment programs and resources for students and families. That lack of funding is what is in the way of schools having fun electives and other classes.
When you have kids as parents..
Bramty is gonna teach her that the earth is flat 🤣
There is no WAY I just heard that she missed her school to film brand deals.
Exactly. The fact that everyone seems to be overlooking this
20+ days or more?! That’s over a month of school SMH
right!! I was going to comment this, all she had to say was she’s pulling Penelope out of school so they can travel 🤣 & the reason Penelope was late to school was because Luis was doing everything in the morning by himself because she’s not a “morning” person lol, like get your kid up for school.
and saying don’t go to college to do social media is crazy 🤣🤣🤣.
Bro exactly!! This shooook me 😭
This is my first week of homeschooling and I was feeling so many emotions seeing all these kids going to school. Thinking is my daughter missing out, but this gave me so much peace that I made the right decision, many of the reasons you have I have too and God led me to the decision to do so. Thank you for sharing!
The benefits of homeschooling far outreach the benefits of sending your kids to school everyday for 8 hours . God bless you mama 🤍
Blessed that I’ve been able to homeschool my 4 kids for the past 6 years. We get our work done in 2.5 hours a day, 4 days a week. When people find out they are homeschooled they are surprised because of how outgoing they are.
That is 1000% because we get out and enjoy life.
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE
“Homeschooled kids grow up to be so different “
That’s the point!
I want my kids to always be the extraordinary humans they already are.
As a homeschooling mom I get this phrase all the time and it always makes me chuckle. My kids are smart, social, outside the box thinkers, it’s amazing!
I could NEVER trust the public school system With their education.
You guys are going to feel real freedom!!! Homeschooling is the best!!!!!!
