Lessons & Carols: "Shepherd's Carol" (Christopher Jones at Faith@Five, by Chilcott and Sansom)
This is one of my favorite Christmas songs because it does not repeat the usual phrases we hear at Christmas, but rather creates a new, poetic approach to the Christmas story, with the shepherds speaking to Mary ("Lady") with such respect, almost like children.
