Seeing all this is wild, kind of puts things in perspective for someone who isn't as familiar with the deep lore of how much a VTuber's influence makes it out there. I can understand why Goobus went on such a long break, being such a busy and popular shork would tax you a lot mentally. I'm sure we all are hoping she's keeping in good health and is finding a good routine that she can adapt to in the long term. Like other delicate sea life, our Gawr Gura should be protected at all costs.
Yeah she literally exploded in popularity. Granted, she was pretty big in her past life, but there's a huge difference between being a tuber with a million subs and being one of the faces of a massive company and having your face and voice in front of millions of people in multiple countries. I can imagine for a shut in that has to be a shock to the system.

Its really cute seeing everyone get so excited when they get together and trade their gacha. Love seeing people of different backgrounds get excited together for common interests even if its something as simple as anime girls haha.
Even tho I hate gacha and gambling in general this is the best part about irl gacha lol. Reminds me of my childhood trading either small metal balls, "gogos" or bakkugan. Nice times..

My favorite part in the vlog was the dolphin show and the fishes dancing to "Reflect"
Cause I NEVER expected them to be able to do any of that with the animals, that's insane!

I think society has normalized making grandiose life goals and successes a little too much. If we all reflect deeply, what you're saying is not weird at all. We make our own goals in life, and in the end of the day, as long as there's food on the table and air in our lungs that's really all that matters. I hope you achieve it and find happiness!

The collab looks great and well-planned. I think the Sendai aquarium and Cover are thinking and planning this neatly.
I have visited many aquariums and I think this one is very unique. The idea of having dancing sardines on Reflect is lore accurate as you can imagine Gura sitting on that coral, singing Reflect while fishes are circling around her.
This is one of those collabs where you go yeah, it makes perfect sense.
On top of that, the whole thing was really neatly organized. They knew how to handle the crowd and had plenty of stock at least for the first day despite the huge turn out. I was impressed.
I bet they’re feeling good about this decision. The turnout looks absurd.
I wish we could see these kind of wholesome things in the US. Even the idea of having an oshi of any kind outside of southern California and maybe Hawaii is unheard of.
Wow, the collab was way more involved than I was expecting it to be. And it seems like Gura really did a lot of recording and whatnot for it, so it must have taken a bunch of time. Thanks for showing it off!

FOMO actually, I went to Japan in late November. I am still suprised at the amount of stuff Holo live has ONLY in Japan. In my opinion it is not even advertised much, I didn't even know they had an aquarium collab. Anyways, I really felt like I was there - thank you.

This collab also impressed me, if she did voiceover for every exhibit and event in En and Jp that seems like a ton of effort from her and the staff, Im glad it turned out to be so successful!

I was expecting the cafe and the merch store to be the extent of this collab. Which is all fine and dandy, but damn they went all out! The preformances and the tour guide in gura's voice was very cool to see. Also idk if they expected the gacha merch to create a trading event that happens at every one of these, but it seems like a great way to bring fans together and i'd love to be apart of one someday. Amazing vlog as always hwikky님!

This was announced and opened literally a week after I was in Sendai, having not been back to Japan for over 6 years, and even though I was in the country there was just no time or money for me to go back. So I appreciate the look into it, may have to visit the aquarium anyways next time I'm in the city.
