The Watcher is now apprehended by the other three Watchers, and the only ones that can rescue him are none other than Captain Carter, Kahhori and the two newcomers: Byrdie (daughter of Howard the Duck and Darcy Lewis) & long-time X-Men member Ororo Munroe / Storm who wielded Mjoinir aka Thor's Hammer and became the Goddess of Thunder. Turns out, this episode is actually part 1 of the finale since the episode ends with a "To be continued..." card. This is also the first & final time for the What If...? series to do this.
