@@Longshlongjon22 ... think about things before you say them. There’s no factory button that lets valves “open up freely.” The S mode on this car changes shift points and throttle sensitivity, but if you floor it in Drive or Sport, the same thing will happen.
There is though an active exhaust system you can get with the car and sport or race can fully open your exhaust valves in this case there’s no way to see that

Drive mode shifts faster than S that's why in roll racing people start in S at the gear they want and when they go shift it into drive and watch crazy shifts amazing what the ECU does

Not a huge ford guy but that's bad ass for just some bolt ons and and tune. I thought he was gonna let up at 160 but by looking at the tach, I figured he was pushing 180. That's sick. Shit, just getting 135 out of my 05 impala SS with the dinosaur pushrod V6 and that antiquated Eaton M90 supercharger seems fast. . Can't imagine another 45 mph more. That mustang seems to be pretty stable and smooth at 180.
I also have a 2016 mustang GTCS auto with 355 gears And a Roush blower smaller pulley upgraded injectors fuel pump booster and I had one question, when you got tuned By Lund Did they take your automatic down shifts away, because they took mine away and I’m just wondering since you have a 2016 as well?
I would really consider hood pins as they get floaty under high speed. 2020 GT500 uses them even with the redesigned heat extractor. GT350 even uses a lower profile hood to minimize this.

Both, it has a Roush Cold Air Intake, Paired with the 2018 Mustang Intake Manifold as well as a Lund Tune. This video was on pump gas with the stock injectors, the car now has ID1050s and is on E85. If I recall this setup made 425 to the the wheels.

Kind of. It had more RPM it wasn't gaining because aerodynamics at high speeds. There is a lot of wind resistance pushing the car back and the car doesn't have the power to overcome this.
As someone who doesn’t know very much about cars, can you explain why he was in the red zone so much? I thought that was really bad for your car, and he was riding in it for a little while
its the "safe" limit, wont cause any harm to hit it daily. hes raised the limit and changed tuning to allow it to rev higher, but it isnt safe long term (or short term really towards 8000rpm.)
The automatics have rev matching on downshifts? Is that a feature with the tune or stock? Also car’s ridiculously fast, haven’t gone past 140 in my mustang.

Back in the 80's we'd race cars without all these techs warning about million things and we wouldn't bat an eye. And they were a lot more dangerous than these modern cars.
@@highping1786 I usually check once a month. And actually I did over 220km/h many times without checking them. You know, the low tyre pressure is a preset, right? Let's say it gives low pressure warning at 2.3 bar and it lits up. But if you memorise that as correct pressure... The light goes off and will only come back at 1.9 or so 🙄 In reality he can have correct tyre pressure but wrong stored value to shine the warning.
The car in the video has a 3.55 rear end ratio - and I was in 5th at top speed. 4.10s are pretty short - and way tricky to hook up on. I like the 3.55s because they're short enough to have fun - but also have great traction and top end as seen here. I personally am not a huge fan of 4.10s Also thanks, it wasn't exactly easy
4.10 gears dont limit top speed the way everyone thinks they do. You just accelerate slower on the top end, maybe a very slight loss of top speed but not much. I have a 2014 full bolt on with 4.10s and reached 179mph. It still had a little more in it but my passengers were getting pretty nervous😂😂

Id say about 165-170 cause there was about 300-400 revs between the time he hit 160 and when he hit top speed

Yeah it was a 2016. It was dyno-tuned remotely by Lund at HPJ performance in Belleville IL. The car still shifts automatically.

From what I've always been told, 6r80 cars are hard limited to 180MPH. There are ways around it, but they're mainly band-aids.

How did you get the transmission to shift auto again after using the paddles? If you just don’t touch it does the car take back over?
When the transmission is on D it will change gears automatically even tho you downshift with paddle shifters

Lund Tune's shift schedule is set for "D" or drive, therefore it was going of the tune's shift schedule not the OEM shift schedule.
