Thanks for sharing your surgery and recovery. DPT here in the states and never thought about frozen shoulder in that context of the body's way of saying hey let me heal, but makes sense. Good stuff you put out here!
I just had my shoulder operated 3 Feb 2022, I had two tendon tears and two things replaced, fat was added and had my shoulder bone was also fixed. I am checking your videos for rotor cuff exercise
Hope the recovery is going well. For the best exercises and structured programming see my shoulder surgery rehab program here: physiorehab.com/rehab-programs-shoulder-injury-surgery-rehab
@@physiorehab thanks I am going to a physio on the 6 April to have my shoulder check out for help on exercises I love your video’s and have done most of the exercises and have save most of your video’s to use for my home exercise
Thanks for the video and explanation. I had the exact same repair to my supraspinatus tendon. Double row repair using Healicoil PEEK anchors internal row and Ultrafix PEEK anchors on external row. I'm 7 months post opp and still working with my physio. Was your recovery about a year long in total?
My plan is to get through the rehab period and then transition into an ongoing maintenance program using Theraband to provide me with long term strength and stability of the glenhumeral joint. Can you recommend any online resources to help with education on this subject? Thank you once again. Many kind regards from Hobart, Tasmania.
7 months in with a suspected tear..had a scan now waiting to have an xray...on numerous medications and still got pain. Im hoping they say i need surgery. Ive had to scale back on my training because of reduced movement and have had to change my job role at work too. Its so debilitating. Ive read that it can take upto a year to have full range of motion and back to normal life. How long before you were back to normal life? I found your video fascinating if not a little brutal looking. Thank you
I sustained full thickness tears to all tendons and a partially retracted bicep in a motorcycle accident. 7 months post surgery and recovery is slow. Such a complex joint.
I had rotator cuff and bicep tenodesis 5 months ago. I’m still having a lot of pain. Currently it’s at the top of my arm, probably about where the anchors are. Feels like a toothache if that makes sense. How long did your pain linger. I’m so sick of it!!!
It went with the right rehab. If you are not doing well with the rehab I suggest you look at my program: www.physiorehab.com/rehab-programs-shoulder-injury-surgery-rehab

Just wondering, was your tear acute of degenerative?

How has your shoulder been with motion? Does ur shoulder feel back to normal? Is it worth getting th surgery?
It was worth it for me! My shoulder is really good now
@@physiorehabHi Tim, how long (how many days) from the surgery you get back full range of shoulder motion?
