Same. Hell, I thought the same thing ab “the package” when I went to A Perfect Circle concert....it was the last song and I went BONKERS when I heard the opening.
We leave the shores to see the mountains rising A distant impression grwoing This judgement creates the pain in we hold Destructive intentions that serve no purpose But the end of us all These vultures from the past, coming In all the hells and worlds, the time has come Delivered from their eyes Embrace, suffer, destroy, gift of guilt The shame and sorrow, self-condemnation Fill all the gaps and the spaces, unyielding Bestowed upon us, devastating power We're building connective tissue to a maze of lies We're left as starving orphans The vital core is gone Our sins are all over and over again we swallow We're sick and tired when this wind blows The reflex is insane We must forgive and stop blaming ourselves for this love These vultures from the past, coming In all the hells and worlds, the time has come Delivered from their eyes I'm leaving this behind, the gift of guilt
"heavy" isnt the first thing that comes to my mind. But i love their flow, those slipknot-like Riffs here and there really so the Trick. Thats what makes this Song a Killer
I've rediscovered this band. I listened briefly in the beginning and for some reason i stopped.....thank God I came to my senses and came back around ro great music.
Its offical......This song is a fucking masterpiece....Mario Duplantiere is the best drummer in the world.....and Gojira is the most important band of the past...........present and future......Period
Ragnarok 74 I’d say Tool is the most important because without them prog wouldn’t have a leg to stand on but Gojira has mastered the duality of emotional death metal
Global warming has its own agenda and you are being lied to from the top, down. Look up "Art Capozzi Pattern Recognitions Part II" its time to wake up and stop falling for the lies... Our biggest threat to our atmosphere, as a species, is geo engineering and weather modification. Take care and be well my friend.
They could have had Gojira do the soundtrack to Interstellar and I'd been just as happy..... Gotta shout out, that movie has one of the best accompanying soundtrack to scenery I've seen in .... damn near 25 years. Goodbye TARS
Saw these guys a few weeks ago and fuck they are one of the best live bands ive ever seen only live performance ive seen that would take that 1 spot from them is slipknot. with both those bands there is just a fucking atmosphere when they play that is hard to explain; it gives you chills and makes you want more.
Right now: @december, Arctic area abnomalities in temperatures: 7,5 Celsius degrees. Whole planet's february was about 2 Celsius higher. That was the number we have been talked about coming up somewhere at 2100's. Frightening times, indeed.
I wouldn’t mind going into a black hole then. I’m actually looking forward to it. Just because of you. ❤️much love I picture a black hole with the word GOJIRA in it. It’s like heaven but for metalheads
Incredible smart songwriting in this one..and very up to date with whats going on in the world....! The vultures from the past are here to destroy us....yepp so true...!

For those caring selfhate and guilt in us... EMBRACE SUFFER DESTROY! Destroy your past, destroy your old ego, embrace your demons, embrace your decisions, suffer to change!
How Mario drums with just two pedals I'll never know but he will forever have my respect as a 9 string bassitar and 6 pedal drummer yes I know its a shit way to behave but I grew up tapping both heels and toes air drumming so i just had to build it and see if itd word amd yes under certain situations a quad pedal bass is doable and fun as shit
I consider myself lucky to live in a time where Gojira exists.
🙂
Dude yeah.
So do I, while simultaneously feeling unlucky to live in a world that demands Gojira
Same
Literally told this exact same thing to someone yesterday
gojira is my fucking drug.... emotional flight in the cosmos
The power of this song can bring tears to my eyes at the right times listening.
This song will play when the civilisations cease to be. Fucking cosmic stuff
The drum fill just before the vocals come in is insane

Same. Hell, I thought the same thing ab “the package” when I went to A Perfect Circle concert....it was the last song and I went BONKERS when I heard the opening.
77/5000
The last 2 times I saw them they played it as the last song. Goosebumps!!
I saw them a couple weeks ago , front line at a 20.000 people gig . Saying it was transcendent is an understatement
Davide Bonvicini what ? 😂
Under appreciated song by them, they’re just a phenomenal band, shout out to lost in Vegas for turning me on to them
We leave the shores to see the mountains rising
A distant impression grwoing
This judgement creates the pain in we hold
Destructive intentions that serve no purpose
But the end of us all
These vultures from the past, coming
In all the hells and worlds, the time has come
Delivered from their eyes

Fill all the gaps and the spaces, unyielding

We're left as starving orphans
The vital core is gone
Our sins are all over and over again we swallow
We're sick and tired when this wind blows
The reflex is insane
We must forgive and stop blaming ourselves for this love
These vultures from the past, coming
In all the hells and worlds, the time has come
Delivered from their eyes
I'm leaving this behind, the gift of guilt
The chorus has literally made me cry, what a work of art
Gojira is so god damn heavy putting your speakers to 1% volume they would still blow out.
James Rodolfo hahaha
Try infant annihilator unholy gravebirth bud
"heavy" isnt the first thing that comes to my mind. But i love their flow, those slipknot-like Riffs here and there really so the Trick. Thats what makes this Song a Killer

Best thing to come from France
They played this at knot fest last night it was masterful long live gojira
Dude I was there for that. I felt fucking elevated by this song. I'm so excited I found this song again.
I've rediscovered this band. I listened briefly in the beginning and for some reason i stopped.....thank God I came to my senses and came back around ro great music.

Guys guys we are forgetting a band
Black Sabbath the god father's of metal
Thanos Dione Yeah But their technicality doesn’t even come close to any of this
@@GrapeFlavoredAntifreeze well they kind of helped invent metal (so did acdc) and with out them there is a massive chance metal wouldn't exist
Thanos Dione You can make the argument for Sabbath but definitely not AC/DC lmao. That band was just rock and was never really that good
Thats one thin atmosphere right there. Enjoy breathing it while its still breathable....cause the time has come...
This one indeed dwells above jet stream.
we'll have to go get the flying whales then

Born in Winter would be pretty powerful as a soundtrack for a movie about space, seeing how it says we were all born form the burst of a star
@@guillaumelagueyte1019 glad to know there is someone else that appreciates billion plus year time lines
Totally blown away by the drumming and the lyrics of Gojira.
best french metal band
thats a VERY safe claim
*cough* Deathspell Omega *cough* Uneven Structure *cough*
One of the best of the world!!
YOU'RE A WHITE MALE ! XD

I've got to see them both at consecutive knotfests and it's totally worth it bro

I am asking myself why have I not bothered to listen to Gojira until now? All I can say is, wow I needed this.
I love how it completely changes at 2:25
The Art of Dying has a lot of changes in it as well. I'd suggest it if you haven't listened to it yet.
Whoa dude man, take it easy. I'm sorry that you don't like The Art of Dying but not everybody has the same music taste in you.. lol Have a bad day?
I can confirm. She's easy.

It should be The heaviest matter of the universe, but i'm ok with this one too
I wouldn’t mind going into a black hole then. I’m actually looking forward to it. Just because of you. ❤️much love I picture a black hole with the word GOJIRA in it. It’s like heaven but for metalheads

I've heard the live version of this so many times I prefer it to the recorded version!
I didn't know Gojira very well, one of my best offered him and after that he drove me crazy..💖💖💖🤞🐦
This song makes me cry,, is that normal??
Gojira yep

Yes. This music should be played with the video of the rainforest burning to make room for the cows we are just going to eat.
I’m a 50 year old mom and I feel that way. The hopelessness of what humans have done to destroy everything sacred.
